The birds alone in your yard are amazing. I've heard the cardinal in one of your videos. Then there's the breathtaking deer. I'd set up a teepee and sleep with them. Haha This is a beautiful life you share with all. Everyone should witness this.
When my boys were little, we would here the cardinals singing. One of their songs sounded like they were saying 'to-MA-to.....to-MA-to""! So, I would tell my boys that is what they were saying to them. :-))))) My younger son was preparing to take a trip to the Appalachian Trail, so he pitched his tent in the backyard to practice. The deer did NOT like his tent! LOL
you have no idea how much peace in mind and soul I get every time I watch your videos, whenever I feel down a bit I just watch another one of your videos with you lovely friends and they lift my spirits and make me feel that life is so much worth living, thanks again and please continue these videos . Love your videos and music you choose for them! We’re probably abit south of you, but in the same general area. Id love to feed the deer in our area as well, but along come the raccoons ( which are bold enough to come onto our porch) and other critters. Their all in our bird feeders, even the deer!

It's about time to make a new TH-cam video. ))))))) I know about the raccoons and bird feeders! Good thing is, the raccoons usually just come up at night to clean up the corn that the deer leave. Elly used to get in the neighbors bird feeder all the time with her neck stretched way up so she could reach. LOL Wishing you a great weekend! :-))))))))))
I watch with the most joy at these magnificent animals and how you show them love ❤️ and respect but then I think of people that just kill them for a head on the wall... Now I know that they are wild animals and if a true hunter will do right by the kill but I am still not comfortable with that.. But you have all the ones that they call game... I myself never eat Deer don’t like turkey none of the game animals... But you are very special and I love your videos...

I think it depends in which circumstance you can show them love. If wild animals, whatever they are, get used to humans, they can also get killed more easily or deal more damage. It's 50/50. But yeah i agree i would really love to live there with friendly deers haha :)
Hi Owen! Even when they are visiting with me, they are always on high alert, and will scatter in an instant. But it is nice to see them calm down a bit when I walk out to them for a few minutes. :-)))
LOL ))))))))))) It hasn't even been a month yet! Be patient, my friend! I just spent 1 1/2 weeks on a video for my brother's church camp, so now I need to get caught up on everything else that I let slip behind. I have been taking random videos of my deer when I get the chance. There will be a springtime video, but it is a few weeks off yet. I want everything to turn green here first.....and right now, everything is brown and very dull. Patience, young grasshopper. :-)))))))))))))
Actually my First concern was that they ate you! We have No way of tracking you if they were to drag you off. Or you simply went over the hill after a long winter. Glad to hear you are still with us humans. Yours sincerely Weed Hopper!
Hi Ed. They will eat just about any kind of apples I buy for them. Some even like the crabapples off the tree in my side yard. Some of the deer really like apples, others will walk away from them. They all love the whole corn.....it is their favorite!
I know you mean well and deer are beautiful but you should really consult an expert before offering them food. I'm sure any vet would be happy to help you. Corn can be very dangerous for deer...actually lethal at some times of year. It's probably a bad choice for all other ruminants as well. Alfalfa hay might be a better choice IF IT IS INSECTICIDE-FREE. Most is not. But, again, ask an expert. (And, yes, I'm aware of so-called "deer corn"...same advice...don't.)
Hi my friend. I did a lot of research, and I also contacted the DNR before I went farther into this thing than rolling an apple to a couple deer. Deer corn can be fatal to any deer ONLY if they have not had access to it, or access to it for a long time. I started them slow on it, just as I do any fawns that are big enough to start eating it. Their body and digestive system adjusts and accounts for it, and it is a good food source for them if done in moderation. You are so right, though. It can be dangerous for someone attempting to do this without proper research. I admire your knowledge on this. :-)

Salt licks?
I had a salt lick one year and the deer liked it. I am getting a mineral block this week for them. They love the corn and apples!
