    Just for information Xavier is also Javier. There were two boys at my nephew's baptism. The priest had Xavier (Zayvier -- English pronounciation) and Javier (Havier-Spanish pronounciation). Both baby boys are named for St. Francis Xavier or St. Francisco of Javier, Spain. He was part of the founders of the Catholic priestly order called the Society of Jesus or the Jesuits.

    he look like he comes from there so that is most likely why they ask him if he is sure, I'm in Jamaica and I am muslim and wear what they wear in Saudi and my Jamaican people always ask if I'm sure I'm from here and if my parents are Jamaican lol, and they have Jamaican restaurant in Jeddah , or they had one a few years ago that was there for at least 10 years but that was like 4years ago since ive been.

    Strangely enough that happens here in Argentina too. There are few Jamaicans here and we all know each other so when an Argentine tells me they've a Jamaican and the description doesn't match any of us I know it's an African pretending to be Jamaican. Some Haitians do it too.

    • @knightara
      @knightara 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MsGaynorlee No. it’s part from the Arabian bedouin traditions and beliefs many or most of Saudi women cover up but it’s completely their choice to do so as long as they dress modestly. As a foreign you get to wear anything you want as long as you’re not disrespectful to our traditions. Plus Saudi women don’t need permission from men to do anything they want. Yes there was a male guardian law before but it’s now completely abolished.

    I'm sorry but I have to address the elephant in the room and I'm not trying to be mean but what is this look he has going? Is it a disguise? Do people really wear mustaches like that in real life? The hair? Do forgive me if it seems rude as I'm sincerely curious about this look. And why is he calling the host Javier? He says his name is Xavier.

      You’d be surprised how many people in the world wear mustaches like that-mine is nothing compared to some I’ve seen. And please don’t be sorry about addressing aspects of the program, but best to focus on its content rather than appearances-and I understand you may be curios about it-it’s certainly not a disguise, just a look. You are right about the pronunciation of the host’s name; that was a mistake in my part, and thank you for bringing it to my attention.
