There was a moment when I had to blow up the the other kids supplies by shooting some apples with my sick archery skills. Finally performing the ceremonial Cupid Shuffle at the celebration dance with my fellow adolescents made it all worth while.

The music for the sleeve tutorial (18:33) sounds just like some of the H2O: Just Add Water background music, and it gave me such surprising joy! I don't know if that's the actual music or it just has the same vibe, but either way, I love it, thank you Micarah.

In Australia sometimes you do view the body and sometimes you don’t view the body at a funeral, it depends on the families traditions. Personally my family has “the wake” where we view the body and say goodbye a few days before the funeral

I went to public school and for us our homecoming was VERY NOT Formal. Any dance was held directly after the football game with everyone wearing whatever they wore to the game in whatever theme was picked.
My cousin who went to public school in a separate state then me, had formal homecomings.
Very interesting to hear other school either having very formal ones or very casual ones.

I really loved all of the dresses (including the green one) and much to my surprise, the second one was my favourite, even though it’s not my style at all. I don’t know why but it really reminds me of the film Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion and I honestly love that vibe. Thanks for another really fun video!

I'm so glad that fancy dresses are back for Homecoming, when my older kids were still in high-school, I asked my daughter if she needed a dress and got an eye roll and told that was soooo old fashioned, and everyone just wore jeans, I managed to get her to wear a fancier skirt and top, and my boys just wore their nice jeans and a button up shirt, minus the sports jacket. Caz the boys in the 90s wore black jeans and sports jacket or wore an outfit that George Michael's would be proud of or Mc Hammer pants and a flashy jacket, even had one that looked like the guy formerly called Prince in Purple Rain. It was in the area of 2010 right before everyone wanted to be a Kardashian, and they had only 2 girls who were pressured to be Homecoming Queen by their Mother's who still have PTSD for not making the Homecoming court their Seniors years, and the school actually opened up the opportunity for the Sophomore and Junior classes when in the past it has always only been Senior Girls who were nomination for the court. But they also didn't have any boys who wanted to be King so , the King was whoever was the girls dates. It had always been such an important part of High-school, the parade, rally and bonfire, when all past students came to watch the big Football game (and soccer game) against the next town over, where the Queen is Announced and the dance that night that alumni can attend. It's as big if not bigger than the Thanksgiving festivities. Then the next day is the Harvest Parade a huge festival for the whole town and the court, King and Queen, get to ride again on a decorated float with the little girls watching watching the princesses and are told that they can be one of them too when they get in high-school. Of course there is also a Harvest Queen that is separate from the school and sponsored by the business, usually a Jr or Senior girl or college girl and her Big night is the really fancydress Harvest Ball. This is Black tie event put on by the Business Owners Association and the money from the ticket sales goes to either a local charity or depending on how much is made the BOA's Scholarship Fund to help send a deserving graduate to college.

I liked the sparkley blue dress without the sleeves before you cut a chunk out of one side and added the bow. Just a plain 2 or 3 inch slit would have been fine. I liked it with the sleeves too but make them optional/detachable or a bolero type jacket. But the chunk out of the side and bow kinda killed it for me.
