Yeah if luka was firing on all cylinders it would’ve been a lot better but they locked him up in the first half, OKC defence was very good and they were getting heaps of offensive rebounds too. Also mavs we’re making sloppy passes and weren’t paying attention

There is one stat no one is talking about. The Thunder only shot 7 free throws. The sad part, that number will go down in the playoffs. Low freeshot numbers is a pattern. It's not that they're not getting fouled, just a lot of no calls. I think Dallas had nearly triple the amount of free through on like 30+% less shots. Doesn't add up. Other than that, I have no other complaints about this team.

Dallas doesn’t shoot a lot of 3’s ever since last season since the big trade last season and went 18-6, they look to score inside more, so they dropped off on 3’s play a more physical style. Mavs only took 36 3’s( they don’t shoot a lot of them), granted that’s why they also struggled to stay this season we’re taking way to many…. So the turnovers & guard rebounding hurt the Mavs last night, not having PJ hurt as well. To many unforced turnovers from the Mavs, which has been the only thing they have to work on up or this point, and most of that is due to Chemistry early one, but also now looking to play a faster pace, but now they are learning balance with it, so hopefully Mavs are well rounded and solid come towards the end of the season I hope. OKC is good, but they still do the same thing even with IHart, but also they have made their case in the west as 1 in the regular season , so now for the regular season who’s the 2nd team to make make that case we will see.

The stats are there. The team success is there, despite major injuties holding them back all season. SGA 30,5,6, Luka 28,8,8, Giannis 33, 11, 6, Jokic 32,14,10… Currently Jokic is the most valuable player for his team stat wise and without them they would just stink…however they are the worst ranked of the 4 teams of these players. Giannis stats are second best but Bucks are 6th. SGAs stats are actually the worst of all but OKC are the best team. Luka was injured so hard to give a strong opinion on him but he definitely needs to be in the discussion as Mavs will be a top 4 team in the West. Obviously stats aren’t everything but atm if I was to say which player makes the biggest difference on their team it’s clearly Jokic. Let’s see how the season progresses.

How to dial it back a bit on offense, but dominate more economically so theor team can shine. If your offense is too heavily predicated on iso ball, your offense can be too predictable.
