I'll have to check out the second edition of this book. I purchased the first edition on the Barnes & Noble Nook iPhone/iPad app, when I went to check out your new book the Second Edition was already in my library. I don't know if Barnes & Noble updated me with the new edition or if it's just a glitch and I don't actually have the second edition. :-/ I'm very excited to read the second edition though. I've been on your program for a little over a month now, and I am seeing some great results.

Mike Matthews, I just bought the 2nd addition. Great read. Especially liked the chapters about getting your mind right for success. That is something I have over looked in the past and I look forward to doing some "will power exercises". I do have a question however. In chapter 12 you talk about protein intake. The levels you suggest are higher than what I have read elsewhere (Brad Pilon, how much protein do you need"). Can you tell me specifically what studies are referring to in the book, a link maybe?
Hey Mike, I bought the first book the my kindle, which I do not own anymore. However, I have a Microsoft Surface that has kindle reader on it. When I open my library I see the BLS second edition cover, but when I open up the book the content looks like the first edition. How can I check to see that I have the second edition? Thanks!

Hi! what book you recommend me to buy! im watching your work and i really like and i want to start! but what book should i buy? i'm not experienced in weightlifting, this year i start losing weigh, i use a app from freeletics its bodyweigh exercices(HITT). First i want to lose weigh then i want to build some muscle. i already lost 7kilos.I had 83kg and now im 76kg im 20years old and 1.73m! But after this bodyweigh i want to start weighlifting. Just dont know if its a good ideia to mix the bodyweigh excercices with weighlifting while losing weigh. I do 3 days of freeletics per week i have my macros! 40, 40, 20. Thanks!! Just got the book but I have a question : Question: I started a cut 7 weeks and have not lost any fat or weight , I was maintaining 6 months on 2200 calories 56kg, goal is 50kg , 7 weeks slowly reducing now to 1600 and extra cardio but no progress I track 100% giving 100% to this and I am so confused ( been working out over 2 years
I wish i had the 2nd edition audio from Bigger, Leaner, and Stronger. I bought it on Audible, but now ti is changed and doesn't sound good. I wish i had the 2nd edition. :( can i get that audio from 2nd edition? the 3rd edition sounded very. . . stillted. any thoughts?

If you're skinny fat, is it better to do lower reps(4-6) with heavier weight or lower weight and more reps(8-12)? With 4-5 sets for either one? Please help and thanks? :)

If you have the kindle edition, you can login to your account (via PC not on your kindle/tablet/phone), look for digital content, and then you can see whatever you have purchased. There should be an Updated Content button beside BLS or TLS.

In the end, I contacted Amazon and they pushed it to my device since nothing else would work. I appreciate your response, though, and look forward to reading the second edition!!!
Mike, what is going on with the second edition of this book? I am having the exact same issue as everyone else. This issue is not something you can simply refer your readers to search Google to fix. I've been back and forth with Amazon and everyone I speak to keeps referring the problem up to someone else. They tried to push it to me manually and it kept failing. I've deleted the book, got a refund, purchased the book again and still only the first book is available. I think something is screwed up somewhere. When you look at the book on Amazon, the paperback version looks correct. When you click the Kindle edition, everything points to "Book 1" which is the first edition of the book. Last night 4/6/2015, the rep informed me that 9 other tickets have been opened on this issue and it hasn't been resolved. Amazon can't even manually push the content down anymore. HELP!

Wats difference betweeen bigger leaner stronger and thinner leaner stronger books? Is thinner leaner stronger is just for women?
