It's like some people don't realize that their behaviour has natural consequences, both in legal and societal terms. I feel like my generation was taught respect by our parents/guardians... for the most part anyway. As time passes, however, this lesson has just gone out the window somehow. Like, you may not like or trust the police for your own personal reasons, but that doesn't change the fact that they are the ones running towards the gunshots/shouts for help/danger, while most others are running away. I'm in Canada, so obviously there are differences between here and in the United States regarding crime and danger, but basic respect should still be a thing, eh?!?

In this video, the man hit the woman, and the public came to stop the man and even got physically and verbally abusive towards him. The next scenario was the woman attacking the man. When this happened, nobody came to help the man and stop the woman from attacking him. People think that just because he's a man, he's strong enough to fight his own battles, but the woman needs protecting from the man.

My son was in school in Florida. He went to the mall to pay his phone bill. He’s diabetic and his sugar dropped very low at which point he has no idea of what he’s doing. When he got in the parking lot he tried to get in a vehicle that didn’t belong to him…..his actions were like he was stoned drunk. The security guard stopped and asked him if that was his van and he said no. The officer was trying to cuff him, and at this point my son has an untold strength. But in the scuffle the officer saw his medical necklace and realized he may be having a reaction and called for an ambulance. His sugar was like 38. Thank God for the medical necklace that saved his life and for an officer trained to take care of such a situation.
For the officer that punched the lady in the street after she struck his partner twice, I saw the video from the bystander's POV a WHILE ago. He had back up there. He violated police policy by taking her down hard breaking her face. If he waited 5 seconds the backup officers would of took her in custody with all her teeth and a nose that wasn't squirting blood. I'm not on her side, but I will call out Officer misconduct. That's conduct costs tax payers millions of dollars to settle these lawsuits.
