Good morning Holly!! ♥️☕️☃️ Love the snowman joyful headdress, hit the Ho Ho Ho button!! 🎉. SO FUN!! Love your word JOY, it is really a wonderful one, Joy everyday, how wonderful! I follow a teacher, his tag line is, “Find Your Joy”, I have a couple of his t-shirts, love it!! Looking forward to that beautiful, gigantic Bella Rose box!!! WOW!! Thank you Holly! 🤗
This year was difficult beyond measure. My step-daughter suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in July in the middle of me caring for my dying mom. 2 weeks later she passed, then our almost 20-year-old cat Dottie passed away in November. Just when we thought that was just about enough sadness and heartbreak my hubby and I to bare...my SIL took ill from covid, from hospital to rehab to husband and I needing to step up and manage her finances, house and getting her into assisted living. So, my word for next year must be "FAITH". Thank you for your warm smile and your cheerful sharing of your advent box openings. It helps calm the gloom.
My prayer is that God will give you the strength to endure the good and the bad🙏🏻✝️. Just talk to him and he will lead you. Faith is a fantastic word 🥰❤️😀
I love the idea of a word. I choose "JOY" Holly you've done it again with your headband. I look forward everyday to see what you will be wearing and it brings me JOY!. ....a smile on my face and much laughter. Both of my parents are gone and I miss that they aren't here . Thank you for your video.
Ok i love the Bekka Rose box. Wow . I have trouble settling 0n one word. I like the word Joy , i love the cold weather. I love the night sky in December. But the grocery store had rosemary and mint plants and istood there smelling them like i was getting high , and truthfully i was . Spring is coming , Spring is coming. Hope , i believe, i believe. HOPE will be my word of the year, getting to awe the light of a new day. A new beginning .
Joy is such a good word for the year. It is what quilting brings me most days! Love the scrappy triangles papers. Gotta try them. Can’t wait to see what is in the Bella Rose box. Thanks for what you do!
I love to think that everyone on this planet will bury or has buried their parents. It helps sooth me that we have that in common. it hurts me more that we buried my nephew at 19 from sepsis. i celebrate their lives and long lives. it's the children that give me the grief and bother me daily. celebrate your moms good thoughts and smile on that! thank you for sharing!!!
Wow Bella Rosa Box is stunning. If I had the box I would for sure keep it. Come on Santa sent The Elf her package, she’s been very very good !! ( so far) Nice 21:33 collection again Holly! Thanks for sharing love you🥰🥰❤️❤️🤗🤗
My father’s last words to me were “I never wanted a daughter”. I hold tight to the memories of my Mom and her parents. My word for 2025 will be BELIEVE! I can believe in myself!
I loved the acorn glue. It makes seams when pressing open so flat. I ❤️🎄❤️ your advent box openings. Merry Christmas 🎄 I can hardly wait to see what is inside the beautiful Bella Rose box! 😊
My word for next year is brave. After the first of the year, once my birthday is past, we're picking up and moving out of Texas. It'll be an adventure! 😅
Can’t wait for the pink box, I love pink for Xmas and Halloween, well my house is decorated Xmas pink for years. Stunning stunning box, u need to keep it and put it on your shelves for storage all year long.
I grew up with a silver tree with pink and blue balls. I love that gorgeous Bella Rose box. The triangle foundation paper was the best gift. Have an awesome day Holly.
The Bella Rose box is so pretty I do love the artwork on it!!! The word joy is such a statement and I try to find some everyday!!! The box opening was delightful. Thanks for the fun time!❤
Joy is a very good word for the year! My mother’s name was Joyce and my dad always called her Joy! I have been missing her terribly since she passed in March of 2022. She had a stroke and we moved both of my parents from Iowa to Arizona to live with us in 2020. My mom had a way of handling my dad. I’m sure she learned it over the 60 years they were married. Well, sometimes my dad can be a lot to handle! She was an amazing lady!❤
Hi Holly from Montreal, Canada. I look forward every day to your advent unboxing and I also love your monthly unboxings. I have watched many channels that unbox and yours is by far the best! Most just hold up the items and it is harder to really see things that well. I wish you best wishes and health for the holidays. Since I have had an autoimmune disease I cherish health more than ever.
❤🙏❤ Sending Light and Love for a Blessed Holiday Season. ❤🙏❤ I have not chosen a word for the year, but I have chosen a song. Toby Keith had a song "Don't Let the Old Man In". That's my song only I am saying "Don't Let the Old Woman In". You have a mind shift when you turn 80,
Great video. Joy is a great word. Mine for 25 is Conqueror. I LOVE the Bella Rose box I X. O I'm sure I'll love what's in it but the box itself makes my heart go pitty pat! Happy Tuesday 💐 💐
♫ On Holly's headband we can build a snowman, and pretend that he is Parson Brown ♪ Good morning all & happy Tuesday! This is a decent selection today; no "wow!" items and also no "what were they thinking??" items. My favorite items are the snips from Missouri Star (Chuck is so cute!) and the foundation papers from Cotton Cuts. I agree with the elf on Soft Squares A: save the fabrics for other projects & go through the stash boxes to make the table runner. The green & brown are particularly attractive, and while I like dark, saturated colors like that, I feel these would look muddled together if used next to each other. Perhaps if I saw them in a quilt block along with the mauve I'd feel differently. Ratings: Open Gate, 4/5. Soft Squares A, 4/5. Missouri Star, 5/5. Soft Squares B, 3/5. Stitch Supply, 4/5. Creekside, 1/5 (only giving a portion of a boxed set feels stingy & cheap, plus without the box you need to find a way to store them). Cotton Cuts, 5/5. (I've noticed no one else is rating the boxes; are we skipping that for advent???) To answer the elf's question, Santa's magic is so powerful that it surrounds him like an aura. Over time, it has seeped into the surrounding environment, and with the elves being in such close proximity, they've absorbed it, too, and that's why they always look young. Favorite thing Day 10: Trivia! Stupid bits of useless information delight me, and I've got some Rudolph-related ones to share: Why did people write protest letters to NBC after the original airing of the holiday special, and why did Yukon Cornelius lick his pickaxe so often? The answers are tied together, and we'll start with Yukon. He wasn't seeking silver or gold when he dug into the snowy ground; in the original ending (which was only shown in the first airing of the show in 1964), we discover he was searching for - and finally found - a peppermint mine. So why was the scene deleted? This is where the protest letters come into play. People wrote in to express their confusion & anger that Santa had promised Rudolph that he'd go to the Island of Misfit Toys, and then it's never mentioned or shown that he actually did so. In response, NBC filmed a new scene where he Santa rescues the misfit toys, and the original ending was cut to make room for it. BONUS: Did you know that Hermey is most likely *not* an elf? Evidence: all the male elves (including that right jolly old elf himself, Santa Claus) are bald - except Hermey. He dislikes making toys & going to elf practice. His ears are rounded rather than pointy. Conclusion: Hermey is a human.
@@Holly.QuiltRedCarpet LOL, like I said, I love stupid useless information. I used to buy so many books on trivia, interesting facts, and Guiness Book of World Records when I was younger, and now with TH-cam I've gone down many a rabbit hole. I promise I'm a real live human, albeit a weird one :-)
hope your elf gets her box so maybe tomorrow we can see what is in that bella box. i know my box has traveled all over the country side. it has gone from OR to NJ to Indy. seems several have gone to the INDY post office. must be a bella box convention in Indy! never seen triangle paper pieces like that. love that headpiece !
I've been looking for Joy, but she apparently is on vacation. Due back soon, I hope! Love the Bella Rose box and can't wait for it to be opened. Interested in the Easy Press product. Will be looking out for it.
I still haven't received my box either. Got the first notification that it shipped on Nov 22nd and when I didn't receive it by Dec 3rd, I contacted them and was told it actually shipped Nov 30th. I'm thinking any day now and I got the notification for the final subscription box for this year. I got the same color combination as you, I'd use a different combination like a print - maybe Marsha Derse or Guicy Guice? Perhaps Tim Holtz or maybe Sweetwater? LOVE the headband!
I like the scissors, not thrilled with Creekside. I like the Scrappy Triangles FPP papers and am interested in trying the Open Gates gift. I liked the green and mauve fabric but not excited by the Outside the Box pattern. I would not make that pattern. Some really good, some ehhh. The Bella Rose box is beautiful and huge! I'd keep that box.
I think I'm really overwhelmed. This year I've been chasing my tail to get videos out on time. You're right, though, there haven't been that many big happy moments.
A friend and you tuber uses a new word every year too but I loved her words Joy nevertheless. It encompasses so much. I try and keep True to it every year. My mom is gone 20 years and I still miss her. I lost my eldest daughter almost two years ago. That one will never ever ease. But I try and find ways to honor her and find joy nevertheless. A suggestion for next year?? No elf. It would be better to see just your reaction. I appreciate the elf’s efforts but It just bugs me. And it’s just my humble Opinion. Bella rose Bella Rosa either is wonderful!
My word for 2024 was joy. My word for 2025 is strength. That Bella Rose box is gorgeous! Looking forward to you opening it!
I love those scrappy triangle papers! This day was ok for me, nothing was over the top amazing in my opinion.
I think my word will be “persevere” … making an effort to do things, even when it is difficult 👍
I try to find joy everyday, and my motto continues to be "keep laughing".
