They sure look easy, Jamie. Could you taste the apple cider? I went with my daughters and their kids to the apple orchard a few weeks ago and they were all chowing down on the famous apple cider donuts that are made there. Of course, I couldn’t really eat any, and my mouth was watering! I just wonder if it would work to pipe the batter onto parchment and bake them. All I can do is try, right?? Thanks a bunch for the recipe. I just bought a new bag of the 1 to 1 gf flour, so maybe I will be making them soon!😊 -Brenda
I could taste the apple and Tara liked them enough to ask that I make them again. I would think the more flavorful the brand of cider is at the start of the reduction the more apple taste you'll get in the reduction. I'm not sure about the piping but I'm like you in the "can't hurt to try" method.....as gluten free recipes tend to be that way. They are "cake donuts" so another option may be to try putting them into a muffin pan and baking them similar to cupcakes. They're done when a toothpick comes out clean so while you won't get the donut shape, I would think they wourld bake fine that way. As always Brenda, a pleasure to hear from you. Enjoy your day!
😊 Wow these look yummy! 😋 🍩 I'm looking fwd to trying them! I have a new silicone donut mold I've yet to try out, I think this will be a good one to break it in. 😊
They were a really good recipe and pretty easy to make. Tara said they were good after a couple days as well. She really liked them heated for about 5-10 seconds in the microwave. Keep them covered in an airtight container if you have leftovers.
Your video just showed up on my gluten free recipes a few days ago, and I love the way that you put the recipes together and make comments on easier ways to do things and if they were like the recipe says it can be done the way they say. Thank you, I will be following and seeing what you come up with next.
I can't wait to try it! I am gluten free due to celiac. I love your recipes.. Can you try and make cinnamon rolls using Bob red mills 1 to 1 flour?
Pamela’s gluten free bread flour makes the best cinnamon rolls you can look it up on their website
Thank you so much for the kind words. I'll hunt down a recipe and see what I can do. Thank you for watching.
@@karenadams7270 Thank you so much for adding a good option for cinnamon rolls Karen!
I would like an easy Cinnamon Roll recipe that doesn't make you use Fancy mixer ❤
LOL....Agreed. I don't always want the big fancy mixer recipes either. I was excited that I got to leave the stand mixer covered up for the donuts!
