Hope your like the ideas
What about a megagargomon forum called arsenal mode as well, have it be a mode that instead arms megagargomon to the teeth with maybe some chain gun arms, maybe he’s got a chest full of retractable cannons, ears are just guns on the side of his head, nose is a tiny pistol, and the the rocket shoulders become quad launchers. Side note as well why not do a thing we’re terriormons and lopmons evolution concepts get switched, maybe terriormon become electrfymon, a brawler type digimon who uses two electrified tonfa and maybe lopmon becomes partnermom and instead of being a bunny ninja he’s a cowboy bunny with 2 six shooters. Would love to get your thoughts on these.
I have suggested alternate Devas, the idea behind it is that each Chinese Zodiac has culturally different alternates from their "cannon" place in the Zodiac that we usually see in the Classic Zodiac wheel. For example, The Rabbit is replaced with the Cat in Vetnam, I've seen sources say that it's the Rat replaced the Cat instead of the Rabbit. Also, it could be fun to see a group of Digimon akin to the Devas based on the Greek Zodiac.
I love the idea that Leomon gets one of Xuchaomon's Digicores as an apology for what happened. I thought the blade came from Oorochimon as it was Leomon's confirmed kill in Tamers.
"Survive mode" works for this. His sheer force of will has allowed a dead Digimon to come back to life. Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. And to have a Toku reference.
Love any time tokusatsu references are used and the Leomon comparison to Angeal *chef’s kiss* Great art and presentation. Also, totally thought MegaGargomon was gonna do the same route as MagnaGarurumon and just shed the armor after use; or work like the cast off system from the Kamen Rider Kabuto series. Pleasantly surprised by what did happen.
The Ninja Storm Megazord Lightning Mode inspiration for MegaGargomon hit all the right spots for me as a fan of boyh franchises. (And that was always one of my favorite Megazords) Amd I feel you, even today I still have add the Super Sentai version when I ralk Power Rangers.
Dude, I absolutely love the idea of Leomon: Rise Mode. It is such An incredibly cool consept to have his will to protect those that he believes in manafest into new power and give him the strength to keep fighting. Just what i love to see from you amd the crew, Karn. Always keep up with the amazing ideas
People get upset with the artists? But the art is amazing! Even if it’s not what somebody wants to see in a different mode or any other topic for that matter, the artists always do amazing work that should be applauded
I think some people have a hard time wording their criticisms in a helpful way. Plenty don't think introspectively about the media they consume and that can leave them limited in how they express their feelings on it. Sometimes it's because they're young and other times they just haven't spent much time thinking about it. Constructive criticism is a skill and takes work to really get to the core of what one wants to say without accidentally insulting someone. Also, some people are just jerks.
I have a fictional mode change to MegaGargomon in an old fanfic of mine. It took the concept of Ninja Storm’s Storm Megazord’s Lightning Mode and basically turned MegaGargomon from a tank to a deadly sweeper. I had the “oh so original” name of “Emerald Mode”. I also gave Sakuyamon a “Sapphire Mode”, giving her two wings, a sword, and a Blue pallet swap for her gold armor. (This was well before “Miko/Maid Mode” was a thing.) Edit: This was back in 2008.
Andromon future mode is definitely my favorite, but the first time I watched tamers i was totally expecting something like leomon rise mode to happen especially since until leomon we always saw partners coming back.

Great work as always, Karn! Per usual, the collaboration of yourself and the artists whose work was featured here has provided a fantastic and creative imagining of an interesting concept for Digimon to expand upon! I'd especially enjoyed the designs for MarineAngemon Blast Mode, Leomon Rise Mode, and Andromon Complete Mode for the ways such designs had made clever nods to some of the events of the Tamers anime, as well as some of the additional material involving these particular Digimon. In particular, the incorporation of Andromon's incomplete armor to create a mode change featuring a more refined and extensive version of the armor. So all in all, props as always to you and everyone else involved!

I really wonder if you'll do a video that gives certain characters from specific mobile games Digimon partners. Example: Arknights characters getting Digimon Partners can lead to some interesting stuff happening. Since Sistermon Noir, or Gundramon, could be partnered up with a character that is a Sankta. Which is a species of angels that uses guns as weapons. Yes angels in Arknights using guns is a thing. There's even one with a shotgun.

You know with all your what if digimon videos I’m surprised we haven’t seen you do a video of your own eight chosen digimon. With Hyokomon and Fanbeemon it would surely be an awesome lineup~
chanbara mode is sick! after seeing magnagarurumon as a kid in the following season, i always thought a similar "mode change" type aspect like that would be cool for megagargomon. he exhausts all his heavy artillery and then pops out with a slimmed down sword weilding form.
i think "leomon phoenix mode" could actually be a cool name for his, it refers to zhuqiaomon and also refers to the fact that his desire to survive and protect others allowed him to rise from the ashes and become stronger
I would also love to see the darkmaster's have a hero form a holy form or light form or something like that and and the same thing for the digimons of sin getting Virtues forms.
Very nice, my fav is MegaGargomon. The only thing about them that I'd change, is switching Leomon's wing and gauntlet, that way the gauntlet is on the same side as Jeri's puppet.

Oh, I would love it if Leomon's mode change was a Spirit Evolution for Jerry to compliment the biomerge. Have Leomon's spirit somewhere in there so he kinda comes back, just a little bit
Now im just imagining a Leomon Phoenix Mode. A Leomon capable of dying but immediately returning stronger than before with a flaming aura behind him giving him a look as if he had wings if flame. Also maybe a Chimera Leomon.

I always wanted Megagargomon to fight like Magnagarurumon. Slim body underneath thick armor and artillery. After you shoot all your ammo, the armor falls off and drastically increases movement speed, and becomes a close-range fighter.
Definitely Survive. I can even see the theme song or some insert playing as Leomon confronts Beelzemon and says: "I will definitely not die! Once you take a life... You can never go back!"
I wonder how interesting it would be if Digimon Tamers continued? Like having the Tamers as teenagers, there Digimon partners gained new abilities and forms like the armor digivolution and the X-antibodies, and what they experienced when they where kids is much worse. It’s kind of like Tri, but done right.
Love the MegaGargomon thing. But personally I feel like it is too much of a change too feel like a mode change, and more like a Digivolution Personally I'd go almost... Transformers with it? Like have it turn into a weapons platform or something, and maybe have a small chunk separate and become a smaller and less armoured MegaGargomon. Like an inverse of Power Master Optimus Prime. With the weapons platform sending down its weapons to the smaller MegaGargomon so he can gunkata fight like Lady from DMC
Mega Gargomon Chambara Mode, Andromon Complete Mode and Leomon Survive/Rise Mode are my favorites. I feel like Justimon should have gotten a more traditional mode change but otherwise like this list.
I'm not bashing the design for megagargomon at all, but when I initially started to visualize the rest of the mode change I thought the bulky shoulder... blasters? Would turn into like a jetpack for more speed and aerial mobility

Leomon Survive Mode inmediately remined me of Kamen Rider Ryuki/Dragon Knight and it's Survive Modes. Also kudos on the Final Fantasy VII shout out.

MegaGargomon doesn't have a mode change, but Rapidmon Armour does exist - maybe that's the equivalent to Miko Mode, at least.
