What country do you want to move to? What do you need to do to make it happen?

We are trying to decide whether to put our house on the market before apply for the NL vis to Spain, or waiting until after we’ve sold the house. I think there may be a tax issue with capital gains, if we move there the same year as we sell the house. Not sure what to do about that.

Single mom with an order of protection on behalf of my child 🫤. I would love to move ANYwhere. A place where I can work, is clean beautiful and is peaceful . Has kind people, good healthcare, free education opportunities and TRUE freedom of religion.

We will be applying via NL visa to Spain, likely late 2023 or 2024. Good info. Thank you.

I’m from California, US. I would like to move outside the country because I wanna explore the world. If I would like to move to Finland 🇫🇮 or Iceland 🇮🇸. Why Finland or Iceland? Because they are some of the world’s coldest countries, they have free healthcare, extremely low crime rates, and high life qualities. 🇺🇸➡️🇫🇮🇮🇸.

I know the digital nomad visa in Spain is offered only to those coming from non-EU countries but if I make Germany my first stay/job outside of the US, would that invalidate my application to digital nomad visa in Spain? I've watched tons of videos but this is not clear.

Great question! If you are a citizen from the European Union or European Economic Area you are not eligible to apply for the digital nomad visa. in Spain. If you are a citizen from the US (or a citizen any any countries outside the European Union and European Economic Area) you are eligible to apply. Living in and or working in Germany doesn't invalidate your eligibility. I hope that helps!

@@SheHitRefresh Thanks. Ok that's good to know, I wished you could explore this topic more as I know Germany now is open to non-EU applicants from around the world and if getting a job in Germany is ok for non-EU citizens and they can work remotely in Spain, that'd be great to know.
