I believe there are 3 things to be considered before buying property anywhere in Pakistan. 1. Location 2. Documentation and 3. Developer’s reputation. If these mentioned things are checked, one should definitely buy the property and leave the profit or loss on luck.
Example of Nasla Tower given, there are 2 school of thoughts, some people think if NOCs were issued by the govt, judiciary should take action against them while some people think that the builder should be aware of the wrongdoings he is commencing.
Talking about overseas Pakistanis investing in the country, people do complaint about their investment not being appreciated over the last 3-5 years maybe, but they never mention when the same people doubled the amount invested within a short span of time which was impossible to do anywhere else they would invest. That is the beauty of ‘Investment’ where there is always a probability of profits and vice versa losses. So there should be no comparison with forex or even gold.

There are people who are professionally white collar criminals, specially in the tech industry. Usually it is a teamwork.

I would say, the industry insights were limited to Karachi, and that too restricted to limited number of projects and limited geographical area only.
