Today we're flying from Hong Kong to San Francisco via Singapore Airlines! It's a 12-hour flight in Economy Class and we are served two meals: dinner and breakfast. Both of which are Teochew, referring to an area in eastern Guangdong, China. An Indian selection is available as well. For particular diets, you can request online in advance.
For supper, we have the choice of Sauteed Egg, Shimp, and Spring Onion with Steamed Rice or Braised Beef with Roasted Garlic Thyme Sauce (served with a vegetable medley and mashed potatoes). I order the latter.
For breakfast, we have three options: Parsley Omelette, Dim Sum, or Steamed Rice Cake (Idli, Kesar Upma, Sambar). I chose DIM SUM!!! Excuse me, can't help but go a bit crazy around them :) The specific types of dim sum served: Yam Cake, Turnip Cake, and Pork Siew Mai.

Also one time I was on a Japan airplane (ANA,which is the plane name) and the food was so good I had beef,with rice,and mash potatoes.Then i when on a American airline,and they had pasta which was pretty good,but the breakfast not so quite 😂

Me and my grandma flew to japan and damn boy, they served the best teriyaki ever?? They also gave me a platter of mangoes and bread with butter. They gave me this yogurt thing and damn me and my grandma kept refilling our glasses of coke and orange juice lol.
one thing to remember with Asian carriers where possible is to always eat the meal of the country you are departing from with the country of origin.
I find Asian food so relaxing, the way it’s so beautifully presented and looks so interesting
Being British we don’t see much of that xD I’ve never had that kind of food so when I’m older I’m excited to go to Japan, China etc and taste all the amazing food
