The tiny silver one is a portable ashtray-turned palette. The flippy tounge on the right is where you rest the cigarette, the sponge hole might be where you extinguish the butt. 😮
Those are all so cute!! They would make great gifts. Now I wanna get one and my daughter can have her own fancy paint to mess with. Or maybe I'll fill a tiny one with my favorite colors and just look at it 😂
I bought a really neat one off of Etsy that is 3d printed with a snap closure and it has interchangeable system from nine colors up to like 36 colors for fairy reasonable price. Pretty cool
My favorite one is the one that you haven't shown, something that I saw 7 years ago on urban sketchers channel, it's a business card holder with eyeshadow tin cans inside, there is nothing better than this in terms of convenience, and it's not as expensive as buying these ones. Maybe you could try to set it up on this channel😅
I have found quite a few of the empty mint tins the same size as that little black and white one you showed. I even bought a couple with that plastic tray in them. I threw away the tray and just put in six half pans with magnets on the bottom. Some of those times will hold seven Winsor and Newton half pans. To get a mixing surface, you just stick a bit of yupo paper inside the lid.
A youtube short of how to take apart the mini palette that include the sponge would be greatly appreciated🥲 I can’t figure it out and I’m scared if I use too much force it’ll break

Ooo, THAT makes sense! I've seen it about in that format, although it's been decades. What a clever way to repurpose the design!
With the Altoid tin one, you could cut down an old plastic card like a used gift card or something and use it as a mixing area.
Or use a jar lid, or paint the lid white, eg with enamel paint or suitable spray paint.

They're all cute, but I've already turned 3 Altoids tins into mini palettes. They work great for me!

That is made by Art Toolkit.
I like the altoid tin palettes best - inexpensive & functional! Thank you for sharing 🙏

Apple green is my favorite
the acrylic ones for sure.
Just wondering, can I use acrylic paint instead of water colors.
I just got that instant life with an extra 32 CT insert if I decide I want to switch out colors
3:41 do you have a link on aliexpress please??
She has it linked in the description (The second link called Apple Green Mini Palette)
