I am absolutely elated that they decided to take their time with this game, will be waiting to see how the game plays and what issues it has. After the last 3 assassins creed games, the division, for honor, and ghost recon wildlands I have a hard time trusting Ubisoft games in general.
I can understand the issues many have had had with Unity but Syndicate was a completely different experience - such a fun game and only a few glitches that didn't really influence the gameplay. But I get what you mean, nowadays it is always a good idea to not pre-order a game. Guess AC Origins will be one of the few exceptions for me because I just love this series of games so much :)
I only recently(ish) started playing the first game in this series, and it's the only one I've touched to date... needless to say, this looks leaps and bounds ahead. Really interested to see what they're doing with it.
IMO it's important to play the first one and all the Ezio ones. They have the original spirit of the story, as the later games put the main story on the back burner in a way.
I really like how instead of Eagle Vision, you can actually control a fully animated Eagle now. It makes sense from a lore point. The first Assassin controls the Eagle, later Assassins discover the ability to see through the Eagles eyes. Or, maybe Senu Passes away and Bayek finds a way to combine his spirit with Senu's? Then he would be able to see through the eyes of Senu. 'Eagle Vision' The combat being different makes sense too. You have to remember, he is not an Assassin, he becomes an Assassin. He starts out as a Medjay warrior. Completely different focus and fighting style. Eventually, he creates the Assassins Creed Brother hood and fine tunes his combat style into something new (Like what Bruce Lee did with Jeet Kune Do). Obviously, anybody with a brain would know it would take generations of Assassins to bring about the combat style of Assassins Creed style we all know from the later Assassins like Ezio and Altair. So, it also makes sense that you would have to unlock abilities and skills as you progress through the game. Because, maybe as you're progressing through the game Bayek learns new abilities and skills along the way. His skill set evolves, so to speak.
Please make sure the hidden blade and kill animations are all polished, I can't be doing with another AC game where the assassins whole arm goes through the enemie's head during a kill animation
This game is so fantastic amazing .... wow. the details and everything put in this game, to the common life of the people, to the emotional quest and bonds you experience with the NPC 's ... wauw .. I have never seen or play a game like this before in this amazing details. I am stunned at what they made for a jewel here. The size of the map is HUGE, so many enriched cities, quests and what else. Its just a solid 10/10. Thinking about buying the game ? Just get it already. It is just to good to pass on, its truly an experience. I am so happy I can experience this on my game PC with a GTX 1080, now I can truly see it shine. I also own it on PS4. Why ? because its worth it, and thay way my boyfriend and I can play together. Its freaking AWESOME !!

I feel like some of the key features are returning to the Assassin's Creed series, this AC: Origin's graphic is great and I hope one day Ubisoft could make a great piece of work. BTW, the character's accent is somewhat hilarious! Great work so far Ubisoft, I hope there will be miner bugs left in the game when it releases.
This game looks genuinely beautiful aesthetics-wise, I just hope that the story telling, the characterization and quests are just as good. For the time being, those are the things I worry most about.
Assassin's Creed was always about history facts and reimagining the real world of the acient times. Origins will be the best acient egipt game for sure and a new Assassin game :P

For everybody concerned with there being no Modern Day footage. Ashraf Ismail has confirmed there will be a modern story element featured in the game. He said they want to keep it a secret. No spoilers. Also, all of the gameplay shown only shows like 1% of the map. Early players were only allowed to experience a small portion of the map and of those who had the privilege to see more, were told not to show . So, there is absolutely no way we have seen everything at this point. No way at all.
The Witcher 3 is the best game i played in my long life of gamer. And the fact that Ubisoft inspired on this game to create this new assassin's creed, means a lot :D
Ubisoft don't challenge gamers so much about the "agenda of the merchants" because someone with a lot of free time will start to follow each of the blacksmiths to see what they actually do, or if they just walk for a small circle. Be careful to raise too much the hype. People is believing in you this time

I want a long story, i don't want bayek to just go like: i need to kill the ones who destroyed my land. fil_ farr The Templar order was founded hundreds of years after the year Origins is set in. There is an order in the game called The Order of Ancients who have a very similar outlook to the Templars. Perhaps, the Order of the Ancients eventually merge into the Templar Order? It could be a possibility.
Origins was awesome. I hope Ashraf's team is working on the next AC game, hopefully being a Viking game. Also, Ash's team should make all the AC games from now on.

I'm getting the impression that this is a "shot gun game" where the team is trying out a bunch of new stuff to see what hits and, hopefully, uses that information to make the next game great. It still looks worth playing, but be ready for some confusion.

Only things I'm concerned about is the blood graphics and the face graphics.
