Bukem, will always have a shining spot in my heart, first night I dated my sons mum in 3rd Bass, Shaftesbury Ave, "We Had a Good Time" was a standout tune that night, and was swimming in my head days later, that was 1992...big up this pioneer with 100 2 finger gun salutes.

Agree with you 100% I was 17 and got introduced to Ltj Bukem in 1996, after hearing 'Horizons' for the first time I became an instant drum n bass bird! I was never into hearing Mc's (usually found them annoying) until listening to Conrad!

I'm 53 and he was one of my favorite DJs in the 90s. I would love to go see him live in phx or Vegas before I die. I have a bucket list and he's on it. Thank you for your music. There are no words to describe what D&B has done for my life. It's physically attached to my body and soul forever.
Met Danny a few weeks back at Fabric - the nicest, most genuine and humble guy in the world. I'm 47 - first saw him in 93. Made my year. Respect for this upload; the guy is my hero. And yes, he absolutely tore the roof off Fabric at 3am - played for almost 2 hours even though he was booked for 1. Jeez, this guy...
People still going out to rave at 47! That why adore UK for the original rave scene.
He might be a nice guy but unfortunatley he refuses to release a f ton of music and keeps a tight monopoly on many many great artists. What is he like 56 now? And still no intent to release tunes locked in contracts by him from 15-20 years ago. Basically he is gatekeeping.
I hear you, I really do. But we don't know the details. Business can be a murky world. But yeah LGR is known for strict copyright and being litigious. Have you seen the two docs on YT? Modern Times is a classic and the other later one is pretty good too. Gives you a bit of insight into the business etc. Peace.
