As a long time Red Raider fan this years team is what I have been looking for. A Mike Leach offense with a Spike Dykes defense and aggressive special teams. The defense played very physical and aggressive especially in OT. The O line held up very well all game. The play calling was aggressive, backs, receivers and QB played extremely well. The biggest difference I see in this years team is their mental toughness… these boys just don’t quit. I think this must be the first time we have beat UT & OU in the same year, both wins in overtime. Well done Joey McGuire… well done.
That was a hell of a catch by Marvin Mims. Tech doesn't have anything that compares to him. The difference in this game was tech made the field goal and the Sooners didn't. Oklahoma pissed away a 17-point lead.
This game WV and Baylor where all games OU should not have lost. And arguably they shouldn't have lost to FSU in the bowl game. If they mature this year and figure out how to win games you are positioned to win they will be a 10 plus win team this year. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Millwood will try to claim its eighth and first since 2017. “Coach (Darwin) Franklin, love that guy,” Beller said. “He handed me my first silver ball in 2017. He does a great job, and they’ve got talent. But I hate when people say Millwood wins because they got talent. Coach Franklin and his coaching staff do an unbelievable job at developing talent.”

Bottom line we are the Sooners and we score when the defence gifts the offence the ball, we make the other side pay for turning the ball over and reward our defence by scoring. Jeff Lebbys offence kills momentum when they go three and out every time the defence get him the ball. I say again I am not a Lebby fan, not drinking Lebby cool Aid who would want a coach that can't get his QBs ready. Jeff Lebby and Ted Ruff "the booth twins" should keep there bags packed for that fake Alabama job or wherever, whomever wants a scandal or losing season with a locker room full of great players, I don't trust Jeff Lebby one bit..I would like to give Ruff a pass, if he was a side line coach working along side Coach V, then you could say Ted Ruff knows he sucks but is trying to learn from coach -V, but choosing to be one of the "Booth Twins" with Jeff Lebby tells you everything about Ted Ruff..On another note, can somebody please tell me how the Oklahoma Sooners can lose 4-5 games by a field goal or two in 2022 and no one is talking about recruiting a Kicker or Kickers in 2023. if we had someone like # 47 Gabe Brkic we would have won more games.

Personally I think that the Big 12 is the 2nd best conference in the nation (behind the SEC but ahead of the Big 10).
