- Walter Hammel plays 1930's Ray Noble/Al Bowlly Classic "Midnight, The Stars And You " - brought back in the 1970's as the theme from the movie,"The Shining". Instrumentation is very close to the original score with sizzling Brass, mellow Saxes and Piano.
the shining: good ending
Sounds like music you would hear in a bar or a club that is really fancy. I love it.
I am happy that you enjoyed my arrangement. FYI, I used the FULL AOC harmony for the sizzling Brass registration.
Thank you Walter!
looks like something from mission launch control at nasa!
Ahahah goddamn
THE THEME SONG OF NASA!!!! ON THEIR ANNIVERSARY!!!!

A fascinating take/interpretation of this underrated classic.

Beautiful version. Such a sweet melody.
Thank you Stanley Kubric, Ray Nobel and Al Bowley.

HELLO WALTER, GREAT SOUNDS COMING FROM YOU KEYBOARD, AND VERY WELL PLAYED, HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND :)
Love this arrangement. Also the piano looks like a time machine 😂
Love youtube videos like this. 11 years old, less than 70 comments and all of them from people of a very very niche community. Feels really homey

Where did you get the sheet music for this song?
he prob bought it, because it might be copyrighted. i'd check every music sheet website.
farrah not copyright anymore! Copyright only last for 70 years and its been over 80 since that came out.
@@purpIed no, copyright lasts 70 years after the artists death. Al Bowlly died 79 years ago, but Ray Noble died 42 years ago
Rustgevende muziek,,
DO YOU THINK ROLF COULD PLAY THIS ON HIS STYLOFONE?
Need a correction...😈😈😈
