the work of the right hand is to mute sound, pad or slap. Some sounds might need to be sustained but when they are going for a long time and distorting the tune, you use the right little finger to mute it.
One of my issues in talking drum is that I don't know how to use the other hand to support when drumming....I don't know the best way to place the hand on it
