When I was growing up on the Gold Coast, Australia, the Q1 was being built, we were told that it was an experimental building for a bigger builder which was going to happen in our “sister city” Dubai. We had lots and lots of UAE expats here prior to the build and during, once completed, they packed up and went home. Many of them took their Holden VT and VE SS commodores. I caught up with a few of them every time I was in Dubai. But yeah, not sure how true the story about the Q1 is but that’s what we were told.

Angel Gabriel once asked the Prophet of Allah ‘Inform me of the signs of Qiyamah’. (Day of Resurrection)
In response, The Prophet of Allah said:
“…And you will see *barefoot naked poor* shepherds/Bedouins *vying* with one another in the construction of buildings…”
    (Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1)
Imam Nawawi (renowned jurist and hadith scholar) explains:
“The poor people of the Deserts will *suddenly* become wealthy and begin *boasting* about their buildings”
This video just makes this narration of The Prophet of Allah hit so much deeper and highlights the *boastfulness* of the folk who set up these sky scraper type structures.
Not to mention that this was a narration by a man who neither could read or write at the time of his prophethood. Born in the belly of the Arabian desert. Known by the nicknames “The Truthful”, “The Trustworthy” by the local people years before his prophethood even started. Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him.
There’s not a human on earth who can deny the accuracy of the above narration. Not one. Truth speaks for itself ♥️
