Just came back after let’s say 5 years of inactivity, and I was really surprised on how many of my maxed out cars (classics like the swift rally, escorts, etc.) lost all their mods due to the changes in rarity. It really made me furious. Had so many cars fully upgraded and now I got nothing in return. Anyways, nice video, always good to go back to the basics!
@@topdrives-mike No problem! Its just a game at the end of the day. Any tips for building back my garage to a nice standard? I’ve still got many og classics, the Mclaren ofc, a legendary caterham and the audi rs7, but people seem to have wayy better cars these days. Even got some nice epics like the giulia qv, caterham 270, and silvia 240rs. Won an event as I got back tho, and finished many campaign races, 60 cars waiting to be used for fusing :) Cheers!
I think the best advice nowadays in Top Drives is work on collecting the latest update cars. Updates come around every 3 months (there will be an update today I think) and those update cars are focused on for challenges and tri series events for the next two months so prioritising new update cars will be your best shot at getting back into the game.
Loads of good advice. Nice to hear you not advocating being a 'specialist'. I agree you have to cover the bases a bit or you're waiting for the one challenge/event that suits you. I'm rubbish at saving before updates. Cash always burning a hole in my pocket 😂
Thanks. Normally I find saving really difficult but this time around its happening easier for me. I even bought the Club doubler this weekend (for the first time in a year) so saving twice as quickly.
@@topdrives-mike Yes, as long as it has low handling, if it has above 80 (and a sub 4 0-60), I tend to go to 233 when they are that fast. Of course though 323 does work often too. When i said that I wasn't referring to drag specific cars or better drag cars. If it were to have low handling like the Holden Efijy (Which is a lower RQ than anything i'd put 233 for) then yes i'd do 332. If it were to have good handling but it is extremely good MRA for example (like the 76RQ Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody) i'd do 323. Though if like the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 it's not particularly good at drag compared to it's twisty tracks but still has a base 0-60 of less than 4 seconds i'd consider 233. I wouldn't do 233 on any car with a 0-60 beyond 4.5 seconds and ideally 4 seconds unless it is a duplicate. Of course it really depends on the car and what you need.
@topdrives-mike I think he meant about a car that have a huge handling possibility but has a high 0-60 (like rare ginetta). I heard from BlossomCharger that even tho a car is made to do turns, if it has a 0-60 higher than 5 or 6 seconds it is better to tune it 323 instead of 233, because even if it'd get less heavy and more turning, the 0-60 would be so high to be actually a downgrade (I experienced it yesterday with Opel GT concept, I have 2 of them, 323 and 233, and the 233 one lost to the 323 in every race, even kart indoor).
Can you do a video on the 'mightiest boy' challenge? Looks like 16k cash, 2 ceramics and a CF for buying 2 packs at 200 and 250 gold. Seems a good deal if the rounds arent too difficult
I got in an argument with support .Lost my temper and called him ,Dan, well , you know . Did that cause I thought he blocked me . Now I can't get in the game anymore . Any advice ? Having withdrawal problems.
As a player of over 5 years it is all too real to hear you say you're having withdrawal. I now play from time to time, but realising how little this game actually matters in real life helped me a lot. The harsh reality is that it is just pixels on a screen. One day Hutch will turn off the servers and all your progress will be gone. All the cars, everything. Now ask yourself, do you want to be investing this much time (and maybe money) in something that can disappear over night? Take some time to pick something you could do instead. Something that won't disappear when servers do down. Read a book, play a sport, develop a skill... These are the things that are worthy of your time. I'm sure you had good reason to get mad at Dan, but really is a bunch of pixels on a screen worthy of that much emotion? You can do so much better with your life TopDrives... Life is awesome, so chase the dopamine in a healthier place. :D
@@MWood95thanks for reacting. I bought quite a lot a few years ago, when I decided to try to save every car. Also I used to buy the Elite packs with slots for challenges instead of buying normal packs.
I have played this game for 1524 days and i have never even got close to winning a tri-series and don't have nearly as much maxed cars as you have (only 764). How do you progress so fast?
Keep going. Play Clubs and get as much from the events and challenges as you can. You may struggle in the first instance but it'll be ok in the long term. Or you could restart if you haven't invested any money and not much time on the game.
@@topdrives-mike I've got a few good epics. Rq77 can-am, rq77 donkervoort, campaign epics, and a good amount of ur and Sr, some even maxed! I'm not going to restart, just going to grind clubs and save. Doesn't hutch give it back and take the cash if you have the cash?
I think you can get legendary prize cars back if you have the cash in your account. Worth a try. Send a message to Support using the in-game support function. Good luck.

Sorry about the garage. I think a few people were in the same situation, the token system only ran for a few months. Thanks for watching the video!

I just got into this...
Looked at your garage..
Definitely changed my mind about spending a penny on this game😂😂
Its a choice to make. f2p is definitely the better choice if you can manage it. Just enjoy the game.
Ive only really started fusing cars and it has helped a lot
Great. Thanks for commenting.
From the start, I love your unbiased information. Appreciate you for this vid cheif! You gained a sub today from it!

I always buy the club double money. I think it's worth it as I play a fair bit
i haven't wanted to play clubs much this last year, but i'm really stacking up the cash at the moment so its definitely been worth it this week.
Very cool Video 👍
Thank you 👍
Use up your spare renown is a great tip. Thanks for the vid
Cheers. Glad you liked it.
Cool class m8, im saving rn for the up coming Update 👀. Im so exited about those American cars
Same here! I'd love some more Chevys and hopefully they will add Jeep.
@@topdrives-mike yes, me to!...i believe they will👍
It's worth saving money and investing in ceramic packages?
Just another thing, many say you should only do 233 if the car has a 0-60 less than 4 seconds when you get it.
I don't know about that. The engine traction bonus sometimes gives you a boost on drags but I would generally 332 a car with a low 0-60 time.

Unfortunately it was a lot of playing Clubs and buying gold. There isn't really a secret to winning in Top Drives.
nice school, but i remembered only 1 thing, how tf you have nice bufori photo, mine have 16 pixels
