i don't think it is. Once bitcoin crosses it's all time high, it becomes the new bottom. Anything under 69k is a good buy. It's still advisable to work with a fiduciary advisor instead of relying solely on speculations

I know for me, the plan is to never sell. When I need money, I borrow against my portfolio and use those funds. The goal for me is to buy stocks at its lowest (at the time or DCA) that payout dividends, the dividends compound when it’s reinvested as well as when the stock price grows. Dividends could also pay back the loan I received borrowing against my portfolio. That’s why Warren Buffet suggests the S&P 500, bc this will be the least likely to fail through any generation or era. He is passing down his S&P 500 portfolio to his wife/family. My portfolio is leverage.

When you say "taking profits" do you mean selling the stock?
Taking profits means just collecting your gains or closing your position. Whether you were buying or selling because profit can be collected doing both.
