Hey Rochelle, great tips. I can honestly say I have never seen 🧐the Q Renew. I have a spray bottle with Spring Water that I only use in my hair. Living in the desert, the water is hard & most newer homes here have RO Systems. I bring this up because hard water dries out the scalp & hair.
Thank you! I know all about the dry desert. It was the worst for my curls. I believe I had a water softener installed and that seemed to help but the Q-Redew would be amazing for you!
Thank you so, so much for doing this video and confirming the struggle with having to always refresh hair with some form of water and/or product! I have fine curly hair and often feel perplexed when I would watch other curly influencers and they didn’t need to refresh as intensely as I do! I often refresh with Devacurl Wave Maker for volume and Devacurl Arc Angel Gel. My hair responds best to using a cream like product and gel. I have also tried refreshing with the new Devacurl Decadence Leave-in which also seems to work really well and makes my curls feel super soft and moisturized but doesn’t give me the hold I’m often seeking. I’ve used my Q-Redew to refreshen and while I had a hair mask on and for the first time yesterday I used it after washing my hair and putting in my leave-in, then my stylers and I got amazing results!
Love your videos! Always look forward to watching! Thank you for the tips! I kind struggle to refresh my hair and I sometimes just put my hair in a pineapple and go days without refreshing! Is a struggle😐.
I have tried many refresher sprays and they do not work for me. So I just refresh with a spray of water and use either a cream or a gel. Works like a charm! Thanks for the tips.
In my experience with fine lower density curls, my curls stretch the longer they get. Your curl pattern can also change due to hormones, getting older etc.
Oh ok thanks. Coincidentally i have the same fine hair/density and curl pattern as you but my hair is much shorter since i cut it recently. It wouldn't be too stretched though right?
I think just for long enough to let it dry. I saw a couple of TH-camrs do it. Leximarcella several months ago and Glambelle this week. For me it’s inspirational. I know a lot of curlies that think they have bad hair or who have always relaxed their hair, but I’m convinced that it just come down to products.
Hey Curl-Friends, share your favorite ways to refresh curly hair down below in the comments!
You are my hair twin !!!!!!!!
Hey hair twin! Nice to meet you!
This is the best refreshing video for fine curls i've seen till date!. I usually refresh with water followed by a styling cream😊
Ahh thank you so much! This comment made my day!
Water and Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Foam works for me. My strands are fine and do well with less product.
I feel like I've seen that one but never tried it. Thanks for sharing and for the recommendation!
Water and a little bit of gel or styling cream! I’ve been loving gel lately! I feel like it gives my fine curls some texture and prevents friz! 😘
Yes it does! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I’ve been waiting for this
You're so welcome!

Thank you! LOL. Yes, I've done the same thing as well. Especially after having a child.

Thanks for tips 😘💥
You're so welcome!
Instead of just using water to refresh I put some of my deva curl leave in decadence in the water bottle...it helps a lot!
I haven't tried the leave-in decadence in a water bottle but it sounds like a great idea!
Awesome video lovely with some great tips.
Thank you so much!
This is sOOo helpful!
I'm so happy that you like it Shelley!
Does the curl pattern change within growth?

If your hair is shorter, maybe try very lightweight styling products to ensure that the curl stays tight.
If I have fine color treated hair and high porosity , to refresh should I use oil the next day ?
Can u guy do cholesterol deep hair treatment video on your hair. sulfate free, silicone free, and paraben free product
I will look into that! I haven't done a cholesterol treatment in years!
Thank you
💕💕💕
Will you do the #noproductchallenge?
How long should I do it for?
