This video came up in my recommended feed. I'm 55 and have baby fine low density collar-bone length hair that is 2b wavy. I typically wash every 3rd day. I will use Pacifica's Rosemary Mint Purify shampoo and conditioner, and alternate with a bond strengthening combo, I always double cleanse and only apply shampoo to my scalp. I use a hair mask prior to shampooing after the third wash day routine. I also use Pureology Color Fanatic Leave In. I tried the It's a Ten, it's too heavy for me. For root lift I like Rusk Blo Foam. I do not always heat style on wash day. On days that I do, it's Redken Big Blow Out, pea size amount. I have hard water and a filter on the shower has been helpful. Using too many products is usually a fail for me, not a fan of dry shampoo. The YT channel, Blowout Professor, has been helpful for me. Great info there. I tried a satin bonnet for sleeping but it's too hot most of the time so I stick with a satin pillow case.

I love all your videos - they are lovely to watch and quite informative. This one, particularly, was helpful as my hair was always fine and has thinned quite a bit as I have aged. So I’m going to try some of those products you recommended. When I was younger I also had to wash my hair daily for it to look its best. But one good aspect of aging is that my hair is much drier now and I can go a couple of days between washing. Keep the enjoyable videos coming!!!💕

I teach water aerobics and can't stand wearing a tight swim cap so I'm pretty sure the pool water contributes to my constantly worsening hair. I'll look into some of these products and tips. Thanks girl!

I’m so sorry you have a thyroid issue! I also just had blood tests done to find out what is happening with my hair fallout and if it’s thyroid related. I hope some of these tips can help you! I have more hair related videos and more coming up as I’m working on regrowing my hair and trying to get some thickness again.
Thanks for videos. My hair is very tangly ,long, mostly dry & straight. I use pravana blue detangler after washing, this works like magic on my tangles.....

Great video. I have a few different sets of shampoo/ conditioners I rotate too. I like the way nioxen feels on the scalp and that is specifically for thinning hair.

I’m curious what do you classify your hair as? I love the Dove shampoo and conditioner in that line. It’s in my shower now in fact. It is very hard when you have long moody hair to find things that work well for it. 😂 I also have Not Your Mother's Naturals Tahitian

I LOVE Not Your Mother’s products! Soo many good hair items out there. The Dove conditioner was a leap of faith and it’s been a surprisingly good conditioner for limp hair. I get the huge bottle each time. The funny thing is the smaller bottles are 70% recycled plastic and the large one is 100%. Go figure!
