It's safe if you change the silicone cushion inside it regularly because if not you will cut or rip out some of your lashes (or at least it will do some damages)
I used to use a heated lash curler (it didn't have the same clamp style, just the comb side). I found it worked wonders for my short lashes (that often curl in abnormal directions - thanks, trichotillomania!). I also have difficulty with standard eyelash curlers. I don't think my eyes are standard shape because standard curlers are very uncomfortable.
I have a lot of trouble with these scissor handled eye lash Curler. I l9st one and bought about 4 different ones until I went and got a Maybelline Curler. All the others besides Maybelline were too small for my eyes. Maybelline is the only one that fits my eyes.
Heated eyelash curlers do wonders for me as my lashes grow in all directions and traditional curlers just don’t work because of that reason. I am glad mine don’t clamp like yours though, I am too clumsy. After applying mascara, I gently comb and lift the tip of my lashes with mine. I keep being asked if I am wearing falsies.
I used to have a heated curler that was like a traditional curler so you applied it the same way but it was heated and it was amazing. Never been able to achieve the same with any non heated. I’ve never been able to find anything like it since it broke. I have the Surratt and Shiseido which are good but Rèphr wins for me, especially the more curved one.
I got my heated eyelash curler for $1.25 at the dollar tree. It helps for bad curl days when my long lashes want to act up and curl the wrong direction.
Been using a heated curler for several months and my eyelashes are looking healthier and thicker! Also the warm heat seems to be helping my dry eyes! Just much gentler
I use a heated curler if i need more curl after mascara is applied. Or if i want to touch up later in the day if I’m going out to dinner or something. I won’t use a regular curler after mascara at all. I also have to use waterproof!
There's far too much risk (of burns) and effort for little result. And I'd worry my lashes would become dry and brittle. If I wanted to apply a bit of heat, I'd just dampen my index fingers with warm water and push my lashes upwards, and then set it with cold water.
You are truly gorgeous as a pregnant woman. You have that radiance from within just shining out. I’m a little jealous because I was not a pretty pregnant person...face got super huge and my nose spread and I looked like I hadn’t slept in 3 years. You have no right to look this good while having 2 in diapers and 1 in the oven 😂❤❤
I’ve Ordered at least 3 different heated eyelashes curler and been disappointed I never used this one But I liked results the regular eyelashes curler better even worked better and didn’t make it clumpy and worked faster to haven’t bought one in years and won’t again after 3 times times trying one been disappointed Every time so stick normal one but for while now I’ve been using Castor oil on my lashes and let me tell oh my god it’s made me eyes lashes grow SO MUCH That I don’t even have curl my lashes any more You don’t see results immediately when use castor oil but i swear it works just takes while I’ve noticed Difference After 2 or 3 months And I’ve been using castor oil for close 2 years now for my lashes and Just can’t believe how much longer my lashes are Thicker to I’ve try eyelashes serums and didn’t work and Made lashes dry and give red eyes Burn even one brand I’ve try few brands and just didn’t work And so I Went back using castor oil and Actually does work and not harsh results See my opinion castor works better then Eyelashes growth
I have a heated curler that I simply brush through and it looks great! However, most of the time I don’t want to wait for it to heat up, so I just use my Sheseido!
So my outer lashes are TOO curled. I've always used a heated curler to 'un' curl them a little- but on bare lashes and its not a clamp style like that, and I use a lower heat. I curl the rest of my lashes with it then, too. It can give a more gentle curl, you can coax a softer bend, if that makes sense.
I can see the heated curler only good for people that can't find a regular curler to work. Maybe to use in certain lash sections. Otherwise, its too much of a hassle.
I like the other one better. I get the concept, but your other curling wand was way better. Plus you even said it gets very warm, so I would be to scared of burning my eye.
It just takes too long. I got the cheap open eyelash curlers and I can now get all my eyelashes. I had a typical metal one and the shape matters and I would get weird crimps on the ends.
I do not get anything with today’s modern regular eyelash curlers. I used to back several years ago when they were made of a different material. The eyelash curler I have you can curl up words for 10 seconds maybe 12 heated don’t it’s not going to burn off your eyelashes that worried me in the beginning too. And use a primer by L’Oreal first.
Well a traditional curler doesn’t curl, CURLS don’t have a sharp bend and that’s exactly what a traditional curler does. I’m also not paying $36 for a freakin’ curler.
I’ve been heating my traditional eye lash curler up with my blow dryer for years!!
Me too! Works like a charm.
@@shelllombardi9124 Me too. I’m 60 years old and I’ve heated my eyelash curler with my hair dryer since my early 20’s.

Same - For at least 20 years. One of the steps I NEVER skip.
I love the traditional eyeslash curler, it's quicker, safer and better results, espescially when time is short, and you're in hurry! 👍

I LOVE my Shiseido eyelash curler. Surratt Beauty is a phenomenal brand.
Where can I purchase one?

I agree with everything 🤗
They have them on Amazon.
Where did you get the double clap heated eyelashes curler?
the good old eyelash curler all the way!!!! thanks for the review. saved some $$$$
I got my heated eyelash curler for $1.25 at the dollar tree. It helps for bad curl days when my long lashes want to act up and curl the wrong direction.
Yup! Got mine there too... and it's SO travel friendly!
Been using a heated curler for several months and my eyelashes are looking healthier and thicker! Also the warm heat seems to be helping my dry eyes! Just much gentler

I'll stick with the traditional curler! ❤

I like the way the heated eyelash curler looks BUT it took too long. Nobody got time for that. I'd stick to the regular curler.
You have BEAUTIFUL skin. Thank you for this review.
Since you have it, curl with the heated curler the go in with the regular curler to cool and hold the curl. I’m just curious what the combo will do.

Thanks for a well-done, really informative demonstration/review!
I have a heated curler that I simply brush through and it looks great! However, most of the time I don’t want to wait for it to heat up, so I just use my Sheseido!
I just run my lash curler under warm water, then quickly dry and then use it, much better curl than the heated ones!
Blast it with a hairdryer on low heat too - works a treat. Test warmth on your wrist. No chance of stray water drops that way. 🙃
@@london_liv5539 that's another good idea!!
i blow my eyelash curler with hairdryer and get it warm and then curl
A lot of people do this, but I always seem to forget!!
I've been doing this for years❤
I have found that my lashes fall flat with any mascara that is NOT waterproof 🤷🏼♀️

I use a regular Maybelline Eyelash Curler. To heat it, I use a blow dryer. It works really great. I can't curl my lashes with mascara on.
I can see the heated curler only good for people that can't find a regular curler to work. Maybe to use in certain lash sections. Otherwise, its too much of a hassle.
Dr Dray would be freaking out right now.
I like the other one better. I get the concept, but your other curling wand was way better. Plus you even said it gets very warm, so I would be to scared of burning my eye.
there she is! @milabu 💚
Do they sell Judydoll products in UK?
I have yet to find an eyelash curler that doesn't pinch me nor curl my almost non existing lashes.
What mascara are you using?
It just takes too long. I got the cheap open eyelash curlers and I can now get all my eyelashes. I had a typical metal one and the shape matters and I would get weird crimps on the ends.
Looks good 👍
I do not get anything with today’s modern regular eyelash curlers. I used to back several years ago when they were made of a different material. I like the standard curler
I would try the trick of heating my regular eyelash curler with a hair dryer. This thing takes too much effort for results
I think the heated eyelash curler actually curl the lashes whereas the regular curler just stick them up pretty much
Seems very time consuming. The regular eyelash curler did better, quicker, cheaper! I don't have time for finicky.
I just heat my classic curler with a hairdryer - careful not to use when too hot!
I would be afraid the heat would hurt the cornea
I've never curled my lashes, I'm too chicken that I'll injure myself. 🤣😂
To me they look very similar
I think the regular curler is best. The heated one is too much work with not as nice a result.
The traditional one works better and it is definitley faster
I'll stick with my Tweezerman curler.
Hot stick near my eyes? The curl would have to be markedly better than a traditional curler, and it's not.
Just heat your regular eyelash curler with a blow dryer. Same result at no cost.
The hot eyelash curler too much work. I don’t have time for that and I don’t like the way it clumps the eyelashes together……..
I have a heated curler and it’s much better than yours. My curl lasts all day.
The heated curler seems like a gimmick. I’ll stick with the traditional curler!
Surratt is $42!!! For an eyelash curler?!!🤦♀️🤦♀️
Right?! Like I will just stick to non curled lashes for that 🤣
Well a traditional curler doesn’t curl, CURLS don’t have a sharp bend and that’s exactly what a traditional curler does. I’m also not paying $36 for a freakin’ curler.
Heat on my lashes near my eyes?? Um, no thank you very much 👎🏼
Tie.
I think it’s too dangerous to have near your eyes, not for me
Heated eyelash curler took too much time!
Thumbs Down on the heated curler.
Too much risk, too much effort with heated eyelash curler. Traditional eyelash curler works 😊
A flat iron for your lashes 😂 that scares me! No thanks 🫣
