just gotta pause the video a third of the way in and give a shout to what a hero that indian doctor is. That is a hero right there, putting in over 18 hours a day, helping person after person, and getting no credit. Man, so inspiring!
I for the first time saw some older vlogs when Louis was with Sam... Well it's GREAT to see how he isn't just squandering his platform by hanging out playing Minecraft and going to clubs. He is truly MAKING something of his life and his channel... It's refreshing to see a TH-camr who isn't all about themselves..... Bravo!
It's crazy seeing all of the different types of problems going on around the world and even more incredible to have someone like you traveling and trying to make a difference. These past couple of videos have been very eye-opening and enjoyable to watch, just simply amazing!!
I really love what both Dave and Louis repeatedly mentioned throughout the video: love and pure joy seem to radiate even more in the places that have the least when it comes to accommodations and opportunities. Last month I went with a group from my school to go on a mission trip in a pretty small village in the Dominican Republic, and we all came back completely different people (I think). It does that to you. Everyone in the village was unbelievably generous and happy and strong in their faiths even though they were lacking medicine, food, work, etc. If/when you guys get the chance, definitely go somewhere like that. India, the Dominican, Haiti, etc. It's amazing.
i live in India, and it just amazes me the prospect with which you like our country. Surely its not a lot developed but i loved the way you went to local slums and market and on an indian music night rather than the most touristy spots. love your vlogs. keep going :)
I loved watching this and I miss India so much!! I visited a couple of slums in Bangalore and Dharavi in Mumbai and at least in Bangalore, they will have toilets but they often have to pay to use them. And obviously they rarely have the money to pay, so they will use the streets yeah. Visiting a slum is such an intense experience like you said, there's such a community feel and it's really incredible to see the humanity and community in people when they're in such a terrible poverty-stricken situation. Love it when you and Dave travel together!
Dave did a great job vlogging at the hospital! I wish they had better supplies there. The doctor seemed extremely committed and passionate. That is wonderful to see. A lot of doctors I've been to in the US seem mad and like they hate their jobs. I'd love to see someone as passionate as him having all the supplies they needed to provide even better care.
I would love to connet with Dr. Matthew and help him get his worked published. I have a Master's of Public Health and extensive research resourses available through my husband who is an MD student. If you are able to share my contact info with him, I would love to see how we can work together to help put a stop in Polio and create a better quality of life for those living with it.
Kate Gulbrand I'm going to New Delhi soon for my higher studies and I'm gonna locate this man. Kindly email me on madhulika.97@outlook.com I can help you trace this godsent doctor!
It's amazing how Louis can see the best in every situation. He seems such a good fella at heart. Keep living your adventures friend and thanks for sharing them with us. :)
That doctor is an absolute angel; I do not think I know anyone, in my life that, is as selfless as that man is and it is so refreshing to know that there are people out there like him. The world needs way more people as amazing as he is.
I just find your vlogs so important. Especially the solvey project that you are working on with Dave. My capstone for my graduate degree is water infrastructure. Having spent hours reading and analyzing the problem of pollution of the local water ways in cities like New Delhi, I believe this is one of the most pressing issues we should be focusing on. Everyone should have clean drinking water and the fact that you witnessed the main pollutant (defecating near water ways- thus polluting the water) shows that it is an everyday occurrence. Something needs to be done to stop the spread of pollutants, update infrastructure and educate the citizens. I really hope that you continue to pursue this solvey initiative. I think it could do some good.
wow the doctor is definitely what I aspire to be. What a wonderful individual. I'm really amazed by his relationship with his patients. it's so beautiful. And he propably does not make much. I hope he gets his work publish because it can create a great impact in the health of countries all over the world. Thanks Louis and Dave for sharing this with us
I admire so what are you guys are doing here. This is incredible and just admirable that you show the people who need help and do something good with the reach of the channel. Lovely Greetings from Germany!
So much respect for that man! He's not complaining but working with what he has. Do work!... You can feel the love you all have for the people. God bless man!
I wish these beautiful Indian people had the opportunities we get over here. I think most of us take the education system for granted because it's essentially handed to us on a plate. It really puts it into perspective. The saying " you don't know what you have until it's taking away" comes into mind. The light and selflessness of these Indians hearts are truly amazing, thank you Louie for always spreading a hugely positive image of all people in all your videos. Your love for people and the world is truly amazing and through your videos we all feel we get the experience that equally.
Not to forget Dave, he truly looks into the deeper person. He truly cares about passion and passion in people and looks to bring that out of them. We always have mad respect for you and Dave.
Great to see you guys visiting a slum! I made a video of my trip to a slum in Mumbai. Incredible people. A day I will never forget. Heart warming individuals.
I wish i wish some kids in the uk and usa would see what they have. Kids in india have sometimes nothing and they are always smiling and soo kind and respectful. I hope one day kids will be like this everywhere kind and wanting a future and just soo happy with life even if they dont have much #funforlouis
Awesome Louis. I'm also a British guy who goes to developing countries to film vlogs quite often, and it's so great to see you are so open minded. It sucks when I meet foreigners who come to these types of places who moan and complain all the time because things aren't as they are "back home" - it's only open minded people like you who can go to places like India and make a meaningful contribution. The moaners should stay home if they can't accept cultures that are different to their own. Awesome work!
i truely love the solvey vlogs because it's not just about travel and seeing beautiful places, it is much more like a documentary about the "real" world showing us the problems and, more important, potential solutions from all the beautiful minds out there! It gives us all hope in humanitiy!
Seeing those kids walking down the street durmming made me realize how much music there is in Delhi. I think it is a good idea to try to teach kids how to make music and instruments out of the things around them. Music makes everyone happy and it is such a powerfull thing to teach children.
New to your channel as of today. Great to see this type of info. What a wonderful doctor and teachers! Working with so little....puts our lives in America in a different prospective....we shouldn't complain..... Great job!
Right on, good stuff you guys, you really captured Delhi (part of it anyway, of course it isn't all slums by any means but I'm sure you'll be showing more of it). Any thoughts of heading up to Nepal? I'm in Pokhara right now planning a trek in the Himalayas. Curious to see where else you might in India. I could give a million suggestions but maybe you're just passing through. Peace out, laterz.
Two thumbs up for the that Doctor! only a few like him are left nowadays. Two thumbs up also to that lady who has an amazing talent in painting! Well done Louis and Dave! The Solvey project is getting more excited as you go along.
I live in Delhi, yet I haven't explored this side of life. It's good to see you are trying to make changes for the good through your travels. We shall also do our bits Louis. Keep inspiring :)
Makes me miss India! I been a couple times to help at an orphanage in southern India in the slums and I think our team counted around 50 "whizzers" on the street in a day. Besides that, beautiful culture and the sweetest children you'll ever meet!
+Creative North I agree! There are so many children there considered "untouchable" because their social class and most are sold into human trafficking. Here is the website if you want to know more. www.opendoormercyhome.org
Dave and Louis you guys are amazing. Thank you for opening my eyes to all these issues around the world. You guys are truly using your platform for amazing things
I enjoy this so much. Your bringing light to their problems. You do it in such interesting way. That we understand. Good job Dave and Louis--Brenda from Arkansas
LOUIS and DAVE! You guys are absolute Legends with solvey, and even the act of showing these places in your vlog spreads the word about the conditions and cultures around the world. India looks like an intense place but so unique to anything I've ever seen or experienced. I can't thank you enough for sharing this inspiring content!
omg that gril that paints mad me cry she going thrue something horrible yet still can see the beauty of this world as she paints it for the rest of us to see
New Delhi is an amazing city. It literally depicts a microcosm of North Indian culture. From Punjabis, Kashmiris, to Biharis. It's the heart of North India. Whenever I go to India, I always look forward to Delhi, the vibe and culture is mesmerizing.
I'm glad you're touched upon the subject. I think the largest problem besides hunger is the public defecation literally everywhere you go in most of India and the disease and bacteria that transmits to other people and the cycle continues
This video will be one of the best for me from your all list. Beyond fun there are some issues that the people all around the world has to be aware of, well done luii great job !! 👍
Plz reply Louis. I have been trying for months. I love you Louis so much u helped me get through a ruff time. I wanted to die u made me smile and laugh. Thank you for helping me through it. You make everyone happy and smile. Ignore everyone who is mean and gate beau we they are jelly. Love ya Louis
+This Girl Can Eat yes I think you are right. I never really went to hospital because I had my parents to take care of me and hospitals I know are those who are near me or which my parents or someone in family work at
It's so great to see you guys in Delhi! I had the opportunity to go last year and see a school built within a slum under a busy road bridge. I'm making a documentary about it now but struggling! This vlog has really just given me an extra push to complete the film, it's so important to share their stories. It also made me want to go back so bad!! So much to see there. You and Dave a real role models for me, you approach everything in a very good way - I'd love to work with you guys one time. :)
thank you for all the compliments India get so much hate and to see so much positivity to my home country were I used to live it made me cry in a good way thank you soooo much is all I can say 😘❤
Excellent video today Louis. I hope you have a fantastic day, night, & evening. Stay cool, stay awesome, stay swag, stay unstoppable, stay incredible, stay popular, stay great, keep having fun, keep being the best traveler TH-camr, & stay strong Louis. Peace out.✌🏻️ Enjoy Life👍🏻 & lived the adventure. Boom! *Fist bump* Keep up the good work. Enjoy your Tuesday.👑☺️👍🙏
The doc was an absolute gem. People like him are under-appreciated.
*_TRUE_*
That doctor is an astonishing individual. Utterly selfless.
+Y2Kforthewin I absolutely agree. The world need lots of doctors like him.
+Creative North Lycka till med din kreativa resa :)
+Y2Kforthewin
Yeah, that dude hustles HARD to give others the ability to work again.
+Y2Kforthewin Amazing man
+Creative North having difficulties with doctors in the west, I wish that I encountered a doctor with 1/100th the drive and compassion as this doctor.

+Zack Gascho That's exactly what I just did earlier. I couldn't help but stop watching at that same spot, and made a shout out! Amazing person!
I can't believe I complain about my 7 hour school days
+Amy Laws school is on six hours isn't it
Aaron Petty Yours probably is but mine is 6 hours and 40 minutes. (7:40-2:20) I felt like rounding up :)
That doctor is an angel.
I could never be as selfless as the doctor... We need more people like him because they can actually make a huge difference!!

Omg sawyer I love your channel so much!!! I'm so excited for all your daily videos!
Omg sawyer ❤️❤️
+sawyerhartman it always sucks to see when someone is jet lagged, but it is also good to see Louis feeling better, well besides the smog...
It's amazing how Louis can see the best in every situation. He seems such a good fella at heart. Keep living your adventures friend and thanks for sharing them with us. :)
These Solvey videos are just so amazing, I'm learning so much. This is Fun For Louis at his best!

Damn Dave, you're good at Vlogging!! Also like when Louis uses you as a 2nd camera in his vlogs to get more angles :D

It's really sad to know that things like that happen to children. Thanks for sharing that link.
Working 18-20 hours every single day is fucking insane. Incredible.

wow! haven't watched funforlouis in a while, this was moving! going to start watching again.
What always strikes me about those in the Indian slums are that they remain so happy and hardworking with so little.
Come to Chandigarh it is just 4 hour drive from Delhi and trust me it will be a great experience.
Beautiful chaos indeed my friend keep up the good work. Please continue to show the world how magnificent each and every culture is
omg that gril that paints mad me cry she going thrue something horrible yet still can see the beauty of this world as she paints it for the rest of us to see

Thank you Louie for being honest about the gritty
hardships but also the beauty and gifts of the people of India.
I'm glad you're touched upon the subject. I think the largest problem besides hunger is the public defecation literally everywhere you go in most of India and the disease and bacteria that transmits to other people and the cycle continues
Sovley and getting to meet these awesome people makes this channel so great.

Great videos! My family is enjoying your work so much!
How can I live in delhi my whole life with whole family of doctors and not know about this hospital
+sakshi prakash SAME
Lol. this is famous. I guess all the Christian who lives in Delhi knows about this.
+sakshi prakash privilege? Maybe you never needed to go out and see these things so you never made the effort to.
+This Girl Can Eat yes I think you are right. I never really went to hospital because I had my parents to take care of me and hospitals I know are those who are near me or which my parents or someone in family work at
Amazing; it appears some of the best human attitudes can be found within some of the most challenging environments.
they don't have a school and I go to middle school
the sad thing is none of the other students are happy or nice
It's so great to see you guys in Delhi! I had the opportunity to go last year and see a school built within a slum under a busy road bridge. I'm making a documentary about it now but struggling! This vlog has really just given me an extra push to complete the film, it's so important to share their stories. It also made me want to go back so bad!! So much to see there. You and Dave a real role models for me, you approach everything in a very good way - I'd love to work with you guys one time. :)
You just changed my entire life with this vlog. Thank you.
What an inspirational and dedicated doctor!!
What beautiful and happy people
What an amazing man, so much respect for him.
God bless that doctor. I also loved the painting of that woman on the hospital bed!
I feel so inspired and uplifted after watching your videos.
