Good evening sir, do you think it would be too late to drop to CAT? I am in grade 11 planning to drop to CAT from the beginning of matric next year. A lot of people suggest I don't as it is quite difficult, what are your thoughts?
It all depends on what you will be changing subjects too. A couple of things to consider: - You can only change one subject from Grade 11 into 12 so if you end up with 2 bad results at the end of Grade 11 then you will need to choose one, and if you have given up on CAT now then it may make that choice harder at the end of the year. - changing subjects requires a massive amount of work to catch up, all Grade 10 and 11 work of another subject. You have to ask yourself is catching up all that work in another subject going to be easier then trying to catchup the work you don't understand in CAT. - The amount of work that is extra in Grade 12 for CAT is a small percentage. A grade 11 can easily do majority of of a Grade 12 Prac and Theory exam and a Grade 12 PAT. So changing to a new subject will mean do all Grade 10 and 11 work for another subject. - I have an exam guide for Grade 11 CAT that will be released later this year. Maybe try see if you can give CAT another go using that and then maybe it will not seem as bad at the end of the year. I hope i have offered some things to think about before you make that decision but in the end you have to make a decision that you think is best for you.

You want to look for the words inclusive. They normally use that to indicate that the numbers listed must also be included.
