I'm Daiki, originally from Kyoto, Japan. I moved to Finland for my masters degree in business in 2016 and now I'm working in the capital area, Helsinki. Through this channel I'm hoping to share my experience in Finland and sometimes abroad, including culture, career, lifestyle and travel diaries.

I love that when you ask for the ”normal” bread, the flight attendant gets confused. For her the normal bread is the finnish one. For you its the japanese. Made me laugh. Keep it up!

Thank you Yoshikawa-san for these videos. I binge watched most your content past week and really enjoyed your output. Tosi mielenkiintoista miten annat uutta näkökulmaa meille suomalaisille siitä, miten ulkomaalaiset näkee meidän pienen maan. Tosi usein TH-camssa näkee pelkkää positiivista ja sitähän kaikki haluaa tietenkin katsoa. Mielestäni jännintä oli kuitenkin, kun kerroit myös sun haasteista suomalaisessa yhteiskunnassa ja niistä videoistahan me kaikki, jotka näitä videoita katsomme, opimme eniten.
As an addenum I will put my finnish part in engish here as well so you can compare how you interpreted it to what i wanted to say: In my opinion it is very interesting that you give a new perspective to us finns how foreigners see our small country. Often in TH-cam all you see is positivity and that is understandable because it is what gets the clicks. That is what people want to see. What I thought was most interesting was your videos about the challenges that foreigners come upon when dealing with the finnish society (that us finns take for granted). And that is the real content (for us) because that is where we can learn the most from.

Really enjoy your videos. Japan and Finland have many things in common, yet such different countries. Japanese food is superior, yet Finland has the clean air and nature. Hope you very well on your journey!
Great video! Me and my Chinese wife just took return flights from Helsinki to Hongkong in the same business cabin. Good experience. I managed to sleep 6plus hours which in more than ever before...

FinAirのビジネスクラス気になってましてん。肩幅のある私やとめっちゃ快適そうやなと思いました。
伊丹空港近くに住んでますんで、逆に関空遠くなってしまうので、羽田や成田から欧米に飛んでんまして関空のサクララウンジのカレーと東京のは色がちゃうなと思いました。
チャンネル登録しましたで。アップグレードはマイルですか？JMBユーザーでして、自社便はマイルでアップグレードできますねんけど、他社のワンワールド便はでけへんのですわ。

Question about the movies, are they subtitled in Finnish and Japanese? I always wonder about traveling to and from different countries. I love the Marimekko bag. I would love one!

when flying im still afraid more about my safety rather than all the extra you get in business class or normal - it does not really matters much (as long as there is not some person next to me who is totally drunk or something and vomiting on floor :D)
yes i know its should work 99.9999... %? something of the time but in case something happens you die
but yes - finland - japan (thats really long flight) so probably not so easy if you have just sit it out in chair all the time
How did the business class compare to the premium economy for you? I have booked a flight premium eco and business back but thinking of upgrading the first flight to business as well..
Business class seat will be like a mini bed with more privacy, and better food. For long flights, I wold upgrade again if I have enough mileage :)

I understand your point but there's no alternative to flying if you live in Finland and you want to see your family in Japan... Personally, I have chosen to live a life with a tiny carbon footprint, once a year I take a flight somewhere with a clear conscience.
@@mikrokupu Hello, i also understand your point. Is totally clear to me that's there is not other option to travel from Osaka to Helsinki in a day. He and many people must fly. My point is that Daiki content is so unique and distinctive that's when is about reviewing a flight, on my opinion, it lost that uniqueness... You tube is full of people reviewing intercontinental flights of almost every carrier, in fact is a youtube genre, so I was surprised and somehow dissapointed that in this video he decided to follow that trend. Let me be clear, I never intentend to complain about his lifestyle, I am a fan of it, i try to express my dissatisfaction on the choosing of subject for a video, because I'm sure he wish to know what his followers think about his content. To sum up, him you and everyone else are free to flight as much you wish or need to.... I totally respect that prerogative, Have a nice sunday.!
