Not even an inch weld above that cut. Plus if you preheat, that corner should have been done in 2 passes with only 1 or two start and stops instead of 10 on the left side alone. If you fold all sides you dont thin and strain the material either.
@Wolverine215 Just interested in seeing it done to manufacturers spec. Tired of going out to jobsites and inspecting these things and having to give contractors long punch lists and/or reroof because people prefer quick to correct
@@RoofingFacts well if he probes his shit and double checks his t points he should be fine. Atleast he prewelded his shit and there weren’t any blowouts. When guys dont probe and check there shit thats when you run into real issues
@@Wolverine215 in theory, yes. Assuming it manages to pass a probe, and assuming the air gap in the corner doesn't leave a weak point. Hence my concern on having 10 start and stops on just the left side, every one of those is likely to be found by anyone with a good probe.
