- I set out for some chill, laid-back truck camping, overland, and fishing in Michigan's Upper Peninsula! Part of the mission was to do some recon work for future trips. I tried for two days to catch some Brook Trout, but that didn't work out. However, I did catch some Perch and Bass while at one of my campsites during this trip.

I wish I had my new one for this trip the one used in this video died on my saltwater trip when it ran into a tree in high winds 😔
I was at that trout pond September 2021. We made it down and back up with 2 SOT fishing kayaks in my truck. Very special place that's definitely off the beaten path!

@@fantasma5471 co. rd 426, NW of Newberry. Don't try it without 4wd! So narrow that you will be scrapping brush just about the entire way back there. I was back there this past July and part of the rd was washed out about a 1/2 mile from the pond. Super schetchy and for the most part there is nowhere you can turn around. Good Luck and be careful...no cell service back there.

I went up to the Up to twin lakes and fished and rode Rzrs in the fall the colors were absolutely insane so many crazy colors I’ve never seen anything like it
It was pretty amazing when you time it just right! Love it
@@JCDropshot Yep lots of water to fish on the Atv trails too hundreds
I went to Copper Harbor this year and did the same thing. Man you do not want to accidentally end up on a utv trail! I'd also not recommend people to go up there by themselves.
