Just to give you some information on the blue color. It's not the Oilers. This color goes back to the early 1920s. The city flag is that color blue, our old police cars were this blue as well as police uniforms. Our curbs on the historic streets are this color. The style of letter is a part of the city history and goes back to 1836. Also, the hip hop culture in Houston uses it.
At first I wasn't crazy about the home blue uni but the more I look at the set, the more it catches my eye. I think it's the darkened color with the contrasting white and red...
Minor thing I wanted to correct you on: The unis can be mixed and matched, actually! The white tops can be matched with either the blue and white pants, and Battle Red tops can be mixed with red and white pants (as these were shown off during the reveal party). The same for possibly the home uniforms, they can be mixed with white and blue pants. I believe the only uniform that won't be mixed is our "H-Town Blue" City Color Rushes. Still, I couldn't be happier as a Texans fan. I absolutely love all of them. If I had to rank them: Battle Red is easily my favorite, followed by the Color Rush, then the Away unis, and lastly the Home jerseys (don't hate them, I just like the other 3 more).
Thank you for the clarification! I saw after posting the white pants can go with the red jersey. I assume now that all other can be mixed and matched (maybe not the color rush). Hard to rank all four because they are all really nice ones!

Does anyone else think the new blue is to dark n looks black, ik its dark blue but hard to tell i want to be able to tell its blue easily
