  • In this lesson, you will learn about pronoun case. There are four common pronoun cases: subject, object, possessive, and reflexive. Examples are given.
My apologies for the sound. Was having trouble with the mic. :-)

Thanks for this. I'm a native English speaker and adult, but trying to learn Spanish, and I found that it's more difficult because I never learned the basic information about sentence structure to begin with. So when a Spanish guide tells me do this/what with a reflective pronoun I'm like "what the heck is a reflective pronoun?" and end up struggling with which words to use and where. (Though Spanish sentences are structured differently, it is much harder to not know where something goes if I don't even know what that thing is called or how it works.) So this is very helpful.

Glad to be of help. And you're absolutely right. When learning a second language, it's important to have a solid foundation in one's native language to transfer those concepts. :-)

Thanks alot for the explanation. For us native English speakers, we mostly just memorize English while growing up and we've never really understood how these and why these Pronounce are used....You've cleared that up for me today.
    Thanks again.

In the sentence "Yo te quiero" the subject is yo and the object is te correct? So the subject and object are not the same. Is this not reflexive?
