After all the controversy I finally had a chance to see in person. OMG that is dangerous. Shame on any judge that thinks this is fair. I am totally with these brave girls. It’s such a shame that their memories will be scarred.
Indeed, if this is not stopped, coaches will just recruit trans and women lose more opportunities. Congrats to Ms. Slusser, Ms. Smoot, and all the other brave women who stand for what is right.
@@jeffontvthis. The team’s coach who was suspended said the players’ scholarships were being threatened. It is absolutely vile that they’re being blackmailed into silence.
Thank you ladies for standing for women I don’t understand this cruel behavior of allowing a mentally ill man do this to any woman It takes women’s sports away from women Shame Shame on this man & any woman allowing this!
It's a mentally ill society that demands this sort of thing and then screams at is that it isn't an issue and this is perfectly normal and compassionate and progressive and the men have no advantage, etc
Spoken like someone who’s never watched a game of SEC / ACC / Big 10 women’s volleyball. Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
First, the 'Judge' that ruled in favor of the man competing on a woman's team should be disbarred from practicing law and sitting on the bench. Second, what kind of coach places a man on his woman's team simply to 'win a trophy'? Fair play and honor is out the window with this guy. Third, why are schools giving women's scholarships to Men?. Look, dude, if you can't compete against men in a sport, your no good at that sport. Don't put on a dress and ruin the game for women...
Assuming that you really want answers to your comments and questions, here goes. First, assuming that you meant the federal judge in Colorado, who was asked to grant emergency relief less than one week before the MWC tournament, there was nothing improper in the court's ruling that should result in his removal from a lifetime appointment. Second, the coach who placed the player on the team 3 years ago does not believe that he placed a man on a women's team. Trophies are irrelevant.. Third, this school denies that it is giving women's scholarships to men. If you want to win your argument you must start at the beginning, not at the end. Therefore, start by proving the player is legally a man. That is what the plaintiffs must do to win their case. I wish them well.
So if men and women are so equal when it comes to physicality and sports then why are things like testosterone bannrd for women to take? Isn't testosterone one of the main differentiating factors between men and women and how they develop? Basically emasculating hormone is not legal when you compete with other women but yet an actual man is? Absolutely ridiculous.
If a man wants to become a woman that is okay. However, it is not fair that these men are allowed to play on any womans team. Where is the character that leaders should show.
They got handed a championship game because teams didn’t want to compete against cheaters but Colorado who comes from a very blue state knocked San Jose out they didn’t deserve a thing and were shown
If the player in question were the superhuman 80+ mph hitting phenom that Slusser describes, wouldn’t SJSU be placed higher than their 130 rank out of 346 D1 volleyball programs, per NCAA’s RPI system?
It sounds to me like you are then in favor of men being in women’s spaces. It also sounds to me that you think better coaching is the answer. Please elaborate on those positions or clarify my understanding.
I’ve seen women in men’s spaces as well. That’s not the point my point is that these women can overcome this biological male with better coaching techniques I keep hearing this argument about safety, safety , but with proper positioning that can be equalized .
Wait, we just take the word of one person? And because *checks notes* the person in question hits the ball hard?? There are lot of biological women who can spike like that.
I'm so proud of Brooke Slusser. She is fighting for young women and the future of Women's volleyball.

And why aren't the rest of women on the team standing with the real women? Shame on them.
Because probably at least half of the women are pulling for Blaire Fleming and her cause as well . Why don’t they interview them as well.
@@DbeeM They don't want to lose their scholarships and they don't want to be cancelled. Nice try, though.

@@DbeeM what is Blaire's "cause"? To have the right to cheat women out of their rights?
Just the way he SLAMS the ball is so dangerous the power behind it !

Only in CA - Way to ruin it CA Policy makers
The man, Fleming is disgusting for playing on a women’s team. What a freak….
Good for them, although I do feel sorry for the young women
Newsom protecting women’s rights huh?
The SV Corporate trust are pulling the strings.
trump will fix these problems all over the nation soon.
I was supporting Blair until I saw the clips of her spiking the ball. I really feel for those poor women now 😢

How can anyone take pride in stealing opportunity from the women?
The team needs to walk away and leave blair by himself
Dude is right saying it’s cheating.
Slusser should petition for another senior year.
We've already lost so much just being in this position. This was a no brainer from the start.

Ok, name them and provide proof of exact power output.
Jumping on the Gaines train.... ugh!
Typical. Nit all transwomen who play sports are bad.
Defending cheaters- ugh!!
Every Female team needs to forfeit. United you stand, divided you fall. Hoping a serious injury will stop those other teams from playing.
