Hands-down the best water modeller on TH-cam! Resin pours are cool and all, but there's so much more to seawater at scale that I've never seen captured the way you do in display after display with opaque sculpting materials and airbrushing. That said, I LOVE the addition of resin to the toolbox here to capture that translucency near the hull. It's brilliant. Thanks so much for sharing.
You have mad skills and inifinite patience. I could not Dremel a surface for that long, especially with the tailings being thrown off everywhere. Well done.
When I build my ship models from kits I make them look new like they were fresh from the building yards no oil stains, no rust, no soot residue, from funnels, and I always make sure the hull and structures have that fresh coat of paint 🎨 look. Like brand new.
Despite there being only three of these destroyers only being built, it is still an incredible class, named after the late Admiral Elmo Zumwalt. This is such a great build, and it shows that you have done an incredible job in producing such a great masterpiece. Will you ever attemp an Independence class Littoral Combat Ship, in the future? Take care, and all the best!
Pink carving foam seems like tough stuff to cut through and using that brown 🟤 clay like substance for the sea water 💦🌊 seems difficult to mold and shape but you got the talent and the patience to do this stuff including detailing the ship to pacific points to make them look like their real life counterparts. You know the age and tone, salt 🧂 water 💦 stains, a few oil spill stains on the hull here and there, and rust streaks from use and abuse, and oily residue on the smokestacks to make it look like heavy smoke pouring out when ships at full power and full steam ahead. Pretty cool. Not bad for a guy with a talent to create miniature reality dioramas of the past where battleships were king of the seas.
Just wonderful , first proper model I have seen Of Zumwalt . Your ocean is a masterpiece , I love the treatment of the wave -piercing bow ! As a general comment , I love the design , but as a model builder I don't find it very involving to construct ! ( same with modern tanks and aircraft , M-48 will always be more interesting than Abrams , F-4 Phantom , more interesting than F-22 Raptor .) What does anyone else think ??
You are a true craftsman and an expert modeler. I have just started watching your videos and have just been overwhelmed with the attention to detail that you put into everything you do. I was wondering if you keep these for yourself or if you ever sell any of them. I would be very interested in purchasing one or several of your works. Please let me know if this is at all possible. With much respect and thanks for all you do ☺️🙏🏻 thank you so very much.
Congratulations, you did a great job... What is the name of the blue paint you used? for example, is it sea blue or parliament blue or some other color?
Do a diorama of titanic hitting the iceberg with lights on and maybe Bismarck's final battle with smoke and fire with blazing and slightly settling at the stern.
The combination for making the ocean is fantastic. So you can see the hull near the ship thanks to the resin like in reality but far away you don't see it anymore! The only bad thing is the Zumwalt class. It is very horrible! No modelling with that ship! No details, no weapons, no handrailings! Take the Wayne Meyer you did (fantastic!!!) and put in the water with this tecnique. I'm sure it will be really really amazing!!
Hey how come you didn't have background music 🎵🎶 was it a distraction I guess music can be if you can't concentrate on your craft with something blaring in your ears.
I dont know if its the look of the zumwalt itself or the model company but this kit dosent really look that good.. Your arleigh burke, LPD-21, Monmouth, Missouri, Midway, Etc were all very good kits.. This one dosent look detailed at all.. Much love though, You are my favorite modeller :DDD
I do not like this ship it looks too messed up. Or to put in my dad's words it's a pile of floating scrap metal. The old-school ships look a lot better than these new school ship's. So I know people are not going to like me on saying that or my dad saying that but it's the truth these new school ships don't look good. And for anybody that thinks otherwise don't start attacking me on TH-cam I'm not in for a argument.

I was worried the resin on the bow wouldn't blend with the rest, but I really should know better. Amazing work.
Let him cook
😅😅や😮😅😅😊

I was thinking the same when watching it. I'd have to put in earplugs or something, the noise would kill me.. hehe
The ocean base is so realistic the shots at the end are incredible!
Beautiful creation as always

You do the best dioramas that I've ever seen! Amazing work! The ocean is incredibly realistic! Thank you for sharing!
선수 부분을 클리어 처리하여 함선의 독특한 매력을 강조한게 정말 멋진 기법이라고 생각합니다. 좋아요 누르고 갑니다.
The water effect is just brilliant. Amazing job!
Great idea filling up the Gap with epoxy resin that will keep the hull affixed to the base and will never break loose.
Excellent work as always. I didn't realize the Zumwalt ships were so large!
Fantastic detail and craftmanship. Congratulations for the exceptional diorama.
You build a great model.. but you create the most realistic water I’ve ever seen.
Stunning workmanship
My man single-handedly made the zumwalt class beautiful
Once again, a fantastic work. And you're changing and improving your skills about sea rendering...
Wow!!!!!!! Incredible work!!! Love the results!!! ❤😊❤
The quality of the water is simply amazing, it's almost like looking at a real photograph
You do it so perfect! Its amazing. The waves, the see...evrything Looks so real😮😮😮😮😮😮
Love watching how your techniques evolve - absolutely amazing!
Man this is just fantastic !
Semplicemente STUPENDA FANTASTICA BELLISSIMA 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Yeah same here, This model looks pretty boring and fast to build, theres barely any detail too
@@CaptainDanger- it is the paint job and ocean that takes the credit eh ?

Beautiful work.
Excellent wave detail, but it would look even more authentic with a tow rope.
When I was young I thought it was an alien but now I have grown up and I think it is a stealth destroyer
Amazing work! Bravo!!
Absolutely amazing!
Please do an RMS Lusitania hitting the rouge wave head on diorama ( if u don’t know what it is, look it up )
Офигенно!!!! Только с музыкой проблемы во время видео, где то есть , а где-то нет) но сам процесс, работа мастера
Again, I'd really love to see you build one of 1/200 scale kits from Trumpeter.
Masterpiece. As usual.
Congratulations, you did a great job... What is the name of the blue paint you used? for example, is it sea blue or parliament blue or some other color?
I love to see those 2 come to life or hms Hood sinking.
Does the kit give you the option to display the guns on the deck in firing position, or do they have to be hidden behind the covers?
줌왈트도 작업 만만찬군요...역시 프라모델은 쉽게보면 안되겠어요
Great Job ! can i ask whats this kits name ? I have been trying to find one ? thank you.
대단 합니다.👍
Wow its very good, try Pyotor veliky ship
Your jobs are Amazing! love your videos, Could you do any Spanish Navy ship?
That’s beautiful
beautiful...

이거 다른것보다 더 탐나는 것 같네요!그만큼 더 잘만드시는것 같아서 한번 배우고 싶네요! 혹시 구매링크좀 알려주실수 있나요?
Why don’t you put any texts/informations during your videos ? Like what colors you used or witch products for the sea etc etc etc
Awesome

Neeeeee nicht schon wieder USA !!!!!
The newest and best Battleships in 2023!
