Wow, this walking tour in Valkenburg looks absolutely magical! The soft ambient lights create such a cozy atmosphere, I can almost feel the warmth radiating through the screen. I love how the video captures the beauty of the Netherlands at night. It's like taking a peaceful stroll through a fairytale. Definitely adding this to my travel bucket list! ✨
The first time I visited the Netherlands, I couldn't believe how many restaurants had outside seating and it usually extended into the village squares/courtyards. The insides were pretty small but still available. Is it 'crazy kids' night - but I do remember getting the giggles with my friends when younger and they only tend to get worse as you tried to stop. I do like that the decorations are subtle but still there for all to enjoy. Thank you.

Valkenburg, mooi stadje mits je buiten het seizoen daar bent want anders is het overspoeld met toeristen. Meerdere keren geweest in mijn tienerjaren; lang lang geleden inmiddels. De gebruikelijke onderaardse spelonken zoals de gemeentegrot en de burcht met fluwelengrot bezocht. Volgens mij ook nog iets met een ondergrondse steenkolenmijn maar ik weet niet of die nog bestaat. Vanuit Valkenburg is/was er een NS-wandeling naar kasteel Schaloen met bijbehorende botanische tuin en wandeling door het schitterende Gerendal. Kasteel Genhoes, niet toegankelijk, ligt pal naast Schaloen. Vanuit station Schin op Geul kun je weer met de trein of je neemt de bus. De Volmolen bij Epen, watermolen, bezoeken en wandeling door het Geuldal moet je zeker ook eens doen. Vijlen heeft de hoogste kerk van Nederland. Het is daar gewoon een prachtige omgeving.
@@TheFlyingDutchMan8K voor kerstmarkten moet je in Duitsland zijn. Valkenburg is maar een kleintje. Er is op TH-cam een video over de verschillende Duitse kerstmarkten.
