Hi, Good day! I found this video very helpful however I just have a question for clarification. Why do you need to remove the battery flex when you only have to do is to replace the charging port? Can you just only open the bottom part where the charging port is located and replace it directly without disassembling the top part? Hehe Im just curious as I am yet to replace my phone's charging port all by myself. Thank you and hoping for your response.

My phone went to a phone shop because my charging port broke and the shop tried like three different charging ports and everytime they say once they fit the new ones in the phone has problems connecting to wifi and has no service so they let the phone charge up on the new one but then had to put the old one back in as they say the phone is unuseable with the new ones and they say they cant fix it do you know what that could be ? Yeah that's what happens to me instead I didn't even do it my self I took it to a proper phone shop to get fixed and now they say exactly what you said and it's now unuseable, they say they can't fix it and gave me a refund this was last year and i still haven't found out why.
