I have got admitted in TU Chemnitz in Germany in same subject - Micro and Nano systems ! my session will start on Oct 5, 20 18 so this video was really helpful..! Good to hear , living expenses is 400-500 € and industrial town so you can get a good job with good experience ! Also one thing I noticed university is spread across the city, so lot of traveling would be involved ! Hope I could afford a car eventually and move easily ! :)
I just finished my bachelor in chemnitz (I am german) and there is no need for you to get a car :) the bus- and tramsystem is really good in Chemnitz and you can ride through whole saxony for free with your studentcard. ( I suggest visiting "Elbsandsteingebirge" or also called " Sächsische Schweiz" near Dresden. Beautiful for hiking :) ) Also..Chemnitz is not that big..It might only take you 5-10min by tram from the main campus to the other parts :) so save the money for the car and rather use it to travel a bit around germany and europe :) I hope you'll have a good time there
Unfortunately you didn't go into the orange building next to weinholdbau..as its the main building with the biggest auditoriums. I also think it looks the best ^^ from Mo-Fr you get good student vibes in there :) ..for the people who still wanna see it, google "Orangerie Tu Chemnitz" :)
plz also enlighten us about which course to choose...For example..my bachelors is in Electrical (Power) Engineering..than which should course should i choose weather in same as bachelors i.e power engineering..or i switch it to electrical engineering and information technology....which one has upper hand in Germany? plz help needed urgently?
Thank you so much, bro, you're doing a great thing, your videos are really helpful for people back in India who doesn't have any idea regarding life in Germany.Right now I'm looking for higher studies in Germany (TU Chemnitz), this video was really helpful for me, you have covered university and cost of living, along with that please please let me know about the part-time/ internship/jobs in Chemnitz. as you said it's an industrial area, is it as same as in Berlin for part-time/ internship/jobs (i mean is it tough or easy to get jobs in Chemnitz while Studying). right now I'm working abroad (Kuwait), I have work experience now.please Reply.thnak you once again.
Hey good video. I'm a viewer from Pakistan and a future student of TU Chemnitz. Dude was it a holiday or the city is usually that empty? lol. Don't people do nothing in Chemnitz?
