@@arrondaniel5783 some people have changed the words in the second stanza to say “and on the Cross as Jesus died/ the love of God was magnified.” Instead of the “wrath of God was satisfied.”
@@mattmcbrayer2687 oh! I didn't know that. Thank you for informing me that brother. I just didn't notice. Well, it would have been weird if they sang their own song with wrong lyrics. Hahaha
The original version is too hard hitting and truthful for most churches. And we wouldn’t want to be uncomfortable in church that’s for sure.
@@mattmcbrayer2687 yikes! Then those people don’t recognize the holiness of God. By His stripes, we are healed. He bore our punishment so we didn’t have to. I pray those who feel this way read Isaiah 53.
