I just saw Puscifer perform this last Tuesday at his 60th birthday concert. They're so much better live, Maynard and Carina sounded like angels. Another great reaction!
@@SaeedReacts. Myth. If only the origin was that cool! "Part of the jargon used by soda jerks. Walter Winchell wrote about this in 1933, in his syndicated On Broadway column. In this, the code 13 meant that a boss was around, 81 was a glass of water and 86 meant "all out of it"". 8 miles out, 6 feet deep may be a thing, but it's not the origin of "86'd" when used in restaurants.
The most diverse discography in music, a boat load of great songs!! They also have done many of their songs 2-3 different ways, which adds a ton of options for you! Don't forget Maynard is a BJJ black belt too, so he'd be more than capable of carrying out his message...LOL
Maynard dude, if there is one thing he hates more than anything it's stupidity. People being stupid, selfish, and cruel when they could be intelligent, generous, and kind. A common theme in his lyrics is introspection, self awareness, and a deep desire for evolution of the self accomplished through confronting the shadows of your past. Recognizing harmful patterns and methods of thought that prevent you from being your best self and moving forward. It is only by confronting and overcoming our weakness, our ugliness that we can discover our strength and beauty.
That is exactly how i feel and what i have been working on the last few years. Awesome to find this music at this point in my life. Thanks for putting it so eloquently!
Carina is Puscifers secret weapon. Her solo stuff is amazing. Also, she is married to Greg Edwards, who plays in Failure as well as Puscifer. Failure should be on your list too!
@@SaeedReacts. I think listening to Pushit from Tool might serve some justice as well. The good thing about that song is, there is no correct interpretation. For example, “Know that I will choke until I swallow. Choke this infant here before me.” Your guess is as good as mine and that is intentional. He writes so that you can apply it on multiple levels. With your apt intuition, I’d like to see what the song delivers to you personally. Also something to note, when these albums came out, nobody understood the references. They never explained. They didn’t do interviews. It was meant to be vague. You’re not supposed to know a backstory. They dont put lyrics in the cd art. Its one thing to understand Maynard’s writing, its another to dismiss the theatre of mind Tool brings to each individual
Have you seen the video of Maynard putting some idiot fan who ran on stage into a rear naked choke while not missing a beat singing live? It’s comedy 😂
Great Reaction! So many people lose respect for people when they are behind a keyboard or headset. It also reminds me to stay in check and not act like I've never been smacked in the f-ing mouth!
la lucha libre, my friend :) i was lucky enough to see a Puscifer tour where they had a wrestling ring set up. it was a very theatrical performance overall. LOVE that you're starting to dabble in Maynard "sides" now that you're well versed in Tool.
Been here since your first Tool reaction and all the crap you were getting about pausing. I told you back then to listen to this to get over the trolls. Your doing great now always look forward to your Tool stuff
Yes! Thanks for being here since the beginning, appreciate that. And happy that i finally got to this one. Definitely a song that i will go back to once in a while as a reminder. Just recorded a reaction to Third Eye and Momma Sed. Hope to get these up in the next few days. Have a great weekend.

That is awesome! Thanks for watching.
The origin of the term "86", comes from mob run, early, Las Vegas... Eight miles out, six feet deep.
Well damn! That is a true 86. Didnt know that. Thanks! Learned something new 😀

Everything Maynard touches is pure gold. You'll never be disappointed!

Yes, we're being condescending, yes, that means we're talking down to you. Epic line!
Love this song!
Momma Sed (Official Video) would be a solid choice for your next Puscifer track!
Will add it to my list.
