They took the rank system out and replaced it with the leaderboard system we have today because when the community said that we wanted leaderboards, TC somehow thought that that meant we wanted a leaderboard INSTEAD of a rank system and not a leaderboard COMBINED with a ranking system.
No it wasn't. It was people complaining about Masters being too hard to achieve. The posts on the subreddit are still there today, I remember it like the back of my hand. People kept complaining because they either couldn't reach Masters or couldn't stay in it and argued the rank system was garbage, so TC replaced it.
@@justinlacek1481maybe Gears of War 4 ranked was impossible to teach Diamond 5 unless you were really a beast. But Gears 5 was definitely not impossible, it was too easy at times lol

Yeah I agree with your statement. I haven’t played gears since Gears of War 3. I was one of the sweaty try hard players my gametag was INFERNO15X. Had crazy good stats idk if it would show in Gears 3 still. But I do plan to return on E day. Especially now that I’m on PC. Cause watching this man….man; I mean this guy is clearly better than the average player but the level of competition is trash. Just from watching this video.

dunno about gears e day too early to jump on to the bandwagon of gears yet gears 4 was fun up too the change of active reload to a passive buff and lancer being buffed to op gears 5 started off good then got butchered so dunno how the coalition will deliver a good gears experience for e day will likely carry over the gears 5 pvp archetype but more clunky less guns 🤔
