Really cool cards, but price is just insane for only 6 cards. I remember paying (or my mom paying) $30 for a full box X-Men Fleer Ultra '95 at Kay Bee back in 1995. Although, I guess $30 was a tidy sum 29 years ago.
@@ljkelty1766 the prices during the 90s was just something else. I remember I could get 10 packs of marvel masterpieces 1994 for $1. Ended up spending $10 and got 100 packs.

Are u keeping any of these cards?
I do plan on keeping them as a collector. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to complete the base set so I'm currently debating if I want to buy remainder as singles or buy another hobby box (the hobby boxes are so much fun).
Do you know how goung price on each card yet?
Unfortunately not, right now the prices can fluctuate from what I've seen on eBay because the product just came about a week ago or so.
Why are these boxes so expensive? Can someone explain it to me? Why are these 250$ for 48 cards? That seems bonkers to me.
Honestly it's really hard to say. A lot of these prices are set by either Upper Deck or distributors. One of the reasons could be because this set has more original art and commissions multiple artists compared to something like Marvel Annual where the art is just taken from the comics instead and does not involve commission for new art to be created.

It’s fucking ridiculous how much these are. There is no reason what so ever.
@@mtgdustin it's pretty much what happened during lockdown, prices of hobbies such as card collecting had a surge/boom and it's been this way ever since. Stuff that used to cost $120/box are now $300/box
Just glad people keep making videos like this to reassure me I'm making the right decision not investing my money into these boxes. I'll stick with my old sets I bought for a hundred bucks here and there off ebay
top left corners of all the cards you opened are bent
That is strange, I didn't notice it too much off camera.
@@thewsquaredguys6608 unfortunately it's not, i seen someone post on facebook about damaged cards and i went back to check mine because i also didn't notice until I checked in the lighting and every one of the cards from the 4 cases I opened top left corners are bent, dinged and crimped.

The case hit was the ugliest card in the box.
