Funny, how all these people don't know how an engine works, but when they destroy it by hydrolock, they pop the hood as if they know what's happening in there. :D
You are correct ..The speed some of them attack it at is mental water everywhere .wet electrics is the least of their problems .as you say hydrolocks and that usually ends up with bent conrods ..If not to deep slow and steady like the merc with its boot open.If deeper ,you need to know where your air intake is and create the bow wave ..Some vehicle should get through it easy ,but they don't due to the driver
These are the cars that don't tell their drivers that something is still open. My car can do that - and does it too. But I don't drive an overpriced thing with a star.
The disadvantage of having an electric closing boot, you press the button and don't look back to make sure it's actually closing! Saw someone do it in a supermarket car park - they did realise before they got to the car park exit, this Merc driver must be particularly unobservant.
Trescott Ford in Wolverhampton, spent many an hour down here watching people attempt to go though after it’s been raining heavily. Fills up quick this one too
A good tip for anyone contemplating crossing a Ford who doesn't want to risk their car: open your drivers door, and go SLOWLY. If it doesn't get deep enough to come into your car, it Isn't deep enough to hurt anything else.
Back in the mid-70s, at a ford now long gone (Summer Road, East Molesey) on a summer's day when the water was still a few inches deep I'd stop in the middle, open the door - both if there was a passenger - and sit there until the next vehicle came along.
although the videos are cool, I'm kind of happy that we don't have ANY fords in our entire road network ... you can get anywhere with any car. Every river, every creeek will have a bridge going over it
So many people are caught out by the myth you need to gun it to stop water going up the exhaust. If they had just gone slow, it wouldn't have got in their intake and they would be fine.
People really be this stupid thinking their car is an amphibian machine and going faster = better, when for water its completely wrong and in water this deep you have to lack a brain to go in it, even with a truck in some of these.
Most of these fools are splashing water into their own hoods by driving so fast, all of this just to look cool in front of strangers, while costing themselves thousands of pounds!!!😂😂
...You should not forget, the engine and the exhaust system are hot 🥵, parts can burst, get cracks, the engine can suck in water 💦, then it is dead ⚰️. 🤷♂️😂😂😂
1:50
I was expecting a film crew in the boot 🤷🏼♂

oh you are so smart
@@pawelkoscielski1 I know. And maybe that's why I have never killed an engine yet... ;)

They opened the hood as if they knew what was happening... if they had known, they would not have entered the water 🤣
Also let’s make as big as splash as possible to get as much water over the car as possible
Always funny seeing people with their boot's wide open, like the car doesn't scream and shout at you saying something is open 😂😂
It floats if the boot is open 😅
was wondering why they had it open. Didn't have anything sticking out. Must not use their mirrors at all either.
A consignment of smelly cheese maybe

At least the plant truck driver said sorry for almost drowning you Ben. I think he was contemplating whether you needed CPR 😬
Con tanta agua uno se ahoga😅
Great stuff! I think that first poor HGV driver got a big fright seeing that Police van waiting for him . I mean, that ambulance!
Nice to see you posting again, Ben. Loved the fails the best, of course.
That first clip 😂😂😂 you must of got proper soaked
1:52 WTF 😀

that intro, talk about a baptism!
1:23 If that's your car, these videos pay well!
It can't be a coincidence. 😂
I’m sure he owns the little red Corsa that was always in the background of the Rufford videos
Nice to see you back on it Ben, even if you do have to suffer for your art 😄
That first one must have made you a little damp! 😆
Aha just a-bit! Luckily I brought a towel with me 😂
Asuuu
Trescott Ford in Wolverhampton, spent many an hour down here watching people attempt to go though after it’s been raining heavily. Fills up quick this one too
I wonder how many cars the fords will catch out this winter ...... Nice video 👍
Great video Ben. Love the high water going over the vehicles 😊
🎉Ben and Tom back together again!
Think the first HGV driver was generally sorry 👍🏻…anyway it gave us a laugh and you a bath 😉😉
Aha 😉, Yeah he apologised but it was great entertainment 👍🏼
на опеле кадр писец конечно, на такой скорости да ещё с открытым окном)))) премию Дарвина в студию!!!!)))))
That will have made you a touch moist!
Don't think the driver was expecting it to push that much water!
Drive was wet too!
0:10 damn those brakes are hot
I wonder if people are learning.. if Ben is there, then take it slow !
Another great video, and I love your car, congratulations.
Thank you 😊!
I'd only ever attempt this in a company car.
I wouldn’t, I don’t fancy being sacked😂
Blue car made the right choice to turn back.
People forget cold water shock can ruin your CAT Converter. Expensive lessons learnt.

Unless its a bmw, sometimes I reckon they could hydrolock from a damp floor.

The second one is a genius
1:24 it's the best vehicle. I love it.
wow! Just getting vids of cars going thru fords, earns you enough for an I-Pace?! Nice!!
@10s....got emmmm!
Brilliant that first one must have soaked you
They should use soviet cars there!
2:05 that paint job is a no from me
When they rip through, I’m like.. 3… 2… 1… white smoke! 🤦🏻
Nice Jag u have.
Greetings from Germany
Très bonne vidéo
Nice alternative Fords.
Hang on? WTF? 1:47 the tailgate is open because…? And the women looks at you as to say what you filming or looking at?
No idea… it confused me & Tom just as much…😂
I’d like to have a recovery truck and a car repair service in this area 💷💷💷
I love this. How many roads do you have like this though😂, i never have seen one here in lower-saxony germany.
How is it that so many people have no idea what they are doing?
It’s an epidemic of dumbassness 😄
nice to see that at least some ppl know how to drive in water
1:50 what was the reason to drive with the boot opened
If the Romans were still in charge there would be a big beautiful bridge. And no need for the sign free recovery💀💀💀💀💀💀😂😂😂😂😂😂
what happened to the original ford location? i barely see it being filmed
Thanks to clout chasers, idiot drivers and people taking stupid risks. Its closed. And currently indefinitely.
Splashy cars tradition is no more
Hope the 1st Lorry never got you to wet 😂
Its the Muppet show. Turn around and find another route or buy a new car. Your choice 😂
At the start I don't think they will stand there again!
Excelente!!!
crazy
Why they don’t make a bridge?
They may have removed one ford but there are others. Something about cars driving through water is peaceful
Nice to see you in my neck of the woods - Trescott Ford is notorious for stupid drivers.
although the videos are cool, I'm kind of happy that we don't have ANY fords in our entire road network ... you can get anywhere with any car. Every river, every creeek will have a bridge going over it
Oh wait...is that the next ford to be closed due to reckless driving?!
So many people are caught out by the myth you need to gun it to stop water going up the exhaust. If they had just gone slow, it wouldn't have got in their intake and they would be fine.
why don't they build some type of bridge? Just curious as thats what most other places would do.
Why was the mercs boot open?
The strait of stupidity! 😂
7:00. Ironically, the Land Rover was steadier than most.
I am a coward i would just turn round ..lol
I've been a mechanic for 25 years just wear armbands he he
Why so many people doesn’t know where is located, what height is the air-intake of their vehicle????
As the mask said, said smoking 😂
No click bait on this video 😮😂
Just wondering, which fords aren’t flooded?
1:50 🍮
What car always seems to get through ?
#Satisfying
Если там построить мост то работники автосервиса его сломают😂😂😂
Weird! Not a single tree, bush or even flower on the back of that 1st truck to hire!
A mechanic should just sit there with his van with a sign he'd male a fortune
Is there a reason why they can't build a bridge?
dude owns a jag fpace....
Scania power 💪
Maybe you guys should try going thru in reverse so you don't downed engine
How embarrassing, a young guy drowning his car in front of a young guy with a camera😬.
Very direct polluting of water that.
0:46 is it powered by coal and steam¿😅
its astonishing how many drivers think there engines just run on petrol alone.
Their !!
@@SirReginaldBlomfield1234 thanks
If only you could the moment when these people realise insurance doesn’t cover a willingness to drive through something that destroyed your engine
Got abit wet there lol

Yeah its pretty pathetic 😂😂
yay .. its the people who got Rufford closed by being clout chasers
Много прости водачи!😮
if the cars drive slowly, water hammer wont happened
epik
Umytie podvozku zadarmo?
🏴👍
Why people think it's better drive fast??
were is the ford
Goes to show you that there are quite interesting people out there. I’m struggling to understand some of the drivers.
So there is 'free recovery' and you should 'await rescue'? This seems to invite irresponsible behaviour...
The "free recovery" will be to a specific garage that will insist on doing the repairs and will include the cost of the tow in the repairs.
