I bought Eric a while back and was tempted to buy a few others...but the bottles are so tiny. Indie polish is an expensive hobby but I'm more selective with phoenix indie than I would be with, say, BKL, because I get less gorgeous polish for my money (a third less per bottle actually). Especially when dealing with three coaters that hurts. I love this collection so much and I'm a huuuuuge vampire fan but I cannot justify splurging on this. That said, thank you so much for swatching this collection! It's so hard to find video swatches for this brand and they make such wonderful polishes.
PSA: for people in the US: I had a horrible experience ordering from Beautometry about 6 or 8 months ago. I got a bad clumpy old polish that needed to be replaced. After sending them photos, they just never responded to my email and I was stuck with a $14 polish. I repeatedly tried to contact them and was just ignored. I’ve never had such a bad experience with a polish retailer. I will never order from them again. Color4nails has always been awesome. (I have no affiliation or anything, just personal experience. I have a LOT of polish) Just felt compelled to share, maybe your experience will be different, but be aware they have some sub par customer service. I hope they see this and are on their best behavior. I don’t mean to be negative, but I’d want to know this information, I’m not sure how else to share my experience for other’s benefit. Thanks for the swatches Caitlin. These are beautiful as always! I want them all, but have no business buying any of them. 😂
Caitlin - you should look up the vampires to see how good these are. Ian Somerhalder played Damon with beautiful light blue eyes. Ze Vampir I was amused to discover is a cartoon yellow with black hair. Lucy was Dracula’s love. Bill and Eric are the Sookie Stackhouse vamps. Bill had depths, so the magnetic fits.

By the way, I emailed color4nails, and the preorder for this collection was in early September, so we missed it - It was long before Caitlin got these in PR. Going forward, I hope Phoenix will get the jump on PR and reviews before the preorder starts with stockists.
To save time you can apply 1 to 2 coats without the magnet then the 3rd coat apply the magnet. Its just nice to have an opaque base then apply the magnet so there isn't any "bald" spots!!!!! Also you can lay your finger on the magnet to help reduce bumping the wet polish!!!!
Ok these are stunning! I love most of them to be honest! My favourite vampire characters though are Klaus and Caroline ( yes yes I am one of those Klaroline shippers), Eric ( i mean its Alex come on!), Blade (sooo cool) and of course the Count!
In the Coppola movie; Bram Stokers Dracula, Lucy is Mina Harker's childhood friend, she is preyed upon by Dracula when he first comes to London. Lucy wears the most beautiful Orange Chiffon negligee in the movie, and she was also played by Sadie Frost; Jude Law's first wife. So yes, Lucy is beautiful, and the polish is most certainly inspired by her.
Caroline, Stephanie, Elena and Damon are characters from a TV show called The Vampire Diaries. Rebekah, Klaus and Elijah are from a spin-off of The Vampire Diaries, TV show called The Originals. I think these polishes are so cool and unique!
This whole swatching session was a little piece of heaven!! The polishes were so creative and original, breathtaking colors, your commentaries are always absorbing in a charming way and here you were in your element, and the background music lent such a graveyard mood. I loved Lestat, Ze Vampir and Blade the best although I was in ecstasy with most of them. Ty, Ty, Ty🙏
Bill and Eric are from the HBO series True Blood. Selene is from Underworld and Blade is a stand alone film series starring Wesley Snipes as half human half vampire (who isn’t evil himself, but actually hunts the evil vampires) You’re right, all these polishes are beautiful! So far I have worn Louis and I also 100% recommend it for green lovers! This whole collection is just stunning and it's nice to see Phoenix on your channel. I am relatively new to the brand as well but really impressed by their formulas.
Absolutely love Phoenix polishes. This collection is a masterpiece. I can't remember if I first heard of them through PPU or Hella Handmade Creations, however I have a big collection of their polishes. It has been difficult to see many of the swatches of their polishes until recently. I am so glad that you are able to swatch for them so that we can see the polishes much better than just pictures on Instagram. The downside for these beautiful polishes is that many of their stockists especially in the states get the polishes for a short time when you first hear about the collections and you the ordering window. Unfortunately, you have to wait many times until they restock which can be a month or more after you have seen the polishes and want to purchase them. So for me wanting to order these polishes I now have to wait for restock 😥. Great video! Hopefully you will be able to swatch more for the brand.
Dracula from Transylvania is unexpectedly gorgeous. I'm obsessed with the sheer purple and fall leaf flakes! Thank you so much for swatching all of them. I can't wait to shop!🍁❤️

Ok. 1. I have been living for putting matte top coat on these types of shimmers 2. Taupe base with intense shimmer is FANTASTIC. They also tend to match my skintone. Then throwing a matte top coat on those specifically is just...... the best.

If I have a polish that bleeds or changes color or finish after TC I usually apply one or two coats of polish, then my TC, then one final coat of color. I feel like it gives a little more durability to the mani without changing the final look

It doesn't have as strong of a green shift and the base colour is deeper and more opaque. I would also say the shimmer is a larger particle size so looks sparly.

I would recommend a nail line blurring base or a ridge filling base rather than white so as not to change the original colour too much.

Not very. Lucy is brighter and more clearly pink whereas the Sassy is more coral and sheerer.

It doesn't have as strong of a green shift and the base colour is deeper and more opaque. I would also say the shimmer is a larger particle size so looks sparly.
Oh and according to my aunt Nosferatu is quite terrifying, at least in the 1935 version she first watched lol I won’t be watching him
