Right!? I thought it was absolute gold 😂👌🏽 I feel like Oda would be having some genuine fun with this last legs of the story. Really Excited to see the rest of the gorosei and their interactions with Luffy
I might be reaching but I think he already fought Nikka, that's why he is able to counterattack and also why he didn't lose time calling the other elders for backup, he knows it can become very dire very fast if they don't overwhelm him
That’s Oda’s genius style, when Kuma punched Saturn, that punch contained not only Kuma’s hate, but the readers’ as well, Saturn’s creature eyes are looking out of the page at the reader…Oda’s whole style is making us feel like we’re a part of the story, which he’s always done. From the first theme song, Luffy spins his hat as he invites us to be Strawhats too. “There’s always room for you, if you want to be my friend.” Each and every one of us that cheers Luffy on and backs up his dream…is a Strawhat Pirate too, and that…is the true beauty of One Piece.
There’s certainly a small percentage of truth seekers, but that wg of this post apocalyptic hell scape are so locked down… I’m not disagreeing with you, maybe refining the point from my perspective(?), and almost every reader has waited years to know the name and history of the ancient kingdom… .. I just think of the average Goa citizen, or even any island not sending people to the rev wouldn’t even know that there was an ancient kingdom… when you visit places that are really struggling they are worried about food and water and such.. Just one man’s opining
To be honest, what scares me the most is not the 5 Elders. But the everyone forgot York and Kaku. I can imagine Oda pulls "Yes! We managed to keep the 5 elders away for 10 minutes!" and end it with "Eh!? Someone cut the transmission!?" while showing York (who most likely works with Kaku) and her evil face.
yeah but i actually don't think that zorro will let him get away, for me it felt like he just tried to prevent him from doing anything, zorro didnt even put on his bandana an only fought with 2 swords. if he would want to defeat kaku i am pretty sure he could do it instantly.
Kaku isn't stupid like Lucci is. Kaku realized that Luffy is his only hope to get out of this situation alive. York now knows that the world governament wants to kill her too so I don't see why she would interrupt the transmission. Also probably Stussy is with them so I am not all that worried, we saw how fast she can react to things. The real menace that could actually stop the transmission is Hattori
@@lordfreezer5631yeah I’m there with you. Totally could see kaku flipping to help the straw hats escape or something. Lucci is blindly loyal, kaku is just intelligent it seems like. I also kinda felt like that since water 7 with him tho cause during his fight with zoro there was like legit respect.
@@Dingle.Donger I mean I see the point but on the other hand does Luffy even care about taking down the World Government? Dude wants to be pirate king and the navy/other pirates are the main antagonists for that.
I have read the theory that Vegapunk is trying to bait the 5 elders into appearing to stop him from revealing the message, and then Vegapunk wants to visually present the 5 elders' true form to the whole world. If you think about it, that makes a lot of sense: Whatever Vegapunk wants to show the world, he could just show it immediately and play the video on a loop. Without that 1 hour (or now 10 minute) preparation time. So maybe after the 10 minutes, the prerecorded video stops and turns into a live view of Egghead's current situation. The only other thing that comes to my mind that Vegapunk wants to show visually and needs preparation time would be any "can only be shown once and then never again" event. But then again, he could just record this event and then start the stream immediately without the wait time and loop the recording.
It doesn't make sense because this is a pre-recorded video! There's no way Vegapunk predicted that not only one of the elders will come to egghead but five of them!! He knew they would try to kill him but There's no way he knew they will come themselves. He programed this to start prodcasting when he "dies" so you want to say he knew that he will die exactly in a situation like this where the elders is there in their demonic form?
Well Luffy is a toon god and oda has all the 100 years of worth rubber hose animation under his disposal. Wait and watch till what goda is cooking next
@@opssheesh bro fr I didnt get this shit at all but thats kinda scary and also somewhat gives me PAIN vibes just not with shared vision lol but fr I just thought their way of communicating was suuper weird but didnt figure out anything further☠️ to my defense I just came home from a partey and read the chapter faded than a hoe at 8 in the morning
I can't wait to hear this voice acted in whatever year the anime reaches this point. Kaido's VA did a great job of expressing the pure discomfort and pain of what Luffy did to him, and getting Pizza'd got some very exasperated sounds out of Kizaru.
Fan translation just says “I’ll perform the summoning” doesn’t say who he’s summoning 👀 the editor note though says “planets assembling” though so I mean it prolly is the other 4
Wild theory: The "information" Vegapunk is planning on sharing doesn't actually exist. He knew that he ran the risk of being eliminated so he set up a plan to cause as much harm to the WG as possible. By submitting this worldwide broadcast the WG would have to respond in force to stop him. This might be where the iron giant comes in, his job is to eliminate as many WG cronies as possible at the end of the countdown. Possibly Egghead will go nuclear and wipe out anything that was sent to stop the broadcast. This would also jive with the hour vs 10 minutes countdown timer since a shorter timeframe means a more drastic effort to stop. Could also be a "lets show the world the evil they work for" moment where the broadcast has 10 minutes to grab people's attention then shows the whole world the monsters that the elders are and how the WG works for/with them.
i was about to say a namekian year is shorter but then realized that you most likely meant the Goku vs Frieza when the planet was literally about to explode
I actually just made a short the other day of how if Frieza tried to blow up the one piece planet in 5 minutes, the pacing would be so slow that you could experience Gojo’s Infinite Void Domain Expansion in the 90 episodes it would take.
I think vegapunks expected that Saturn will summon the other gorosei when his broadcast starts. It's because he insisted on having a video transmission as well, and a good reason for that can be to broadcast the 5 elders demonic forms to the world somewhere in his message.
Narrative theory time: The reason the Elder Stars are showing up now is because once Vegapunk reveals the existence of Imu to the world, their job as intermediaries is redundant to the story because the rest of the World Nobles will either swear fealty to Imu directly or be abandoning ship. As such, why NOT send them out in a huge battle before they're rendered meaningless except as shock troops? The only thing wilder would be a reveal that Elders aren't even "real"... they're just extensions of Imu's will or infused with Imu's power (which is why Saturn is effectively indestructible... he's a construct). Then, as soon as the secret is out, their usefulness is over so Imu withdraws the power and you've just got either husks or five powerless old men stuck on the island they ordered a Buster Call on. The deck is then cleared for the main events of the final saga.
The ultimate big brain move here would be if the broadcaster is not actually *on* Egghead but a different, random island. Then the Elder Stars can win the battle and cement them as threats to be wary of but still lose the war. Luffy loses but gets away with the Straw Hats and remaining Satellites probably because of interference from the Iron Giant allowing Dory and Brogy to extract them and break through the Buster Call blockade en route to Elbaf. The wider world learns the truth about the World Government and turns against the Tenryubito, who are already under siege by the Revolutionaries. Badabing badaboom now you got a war on such an unprecedented scale it makes Marineford look like peanuts, as we were promised.
Something else terrifying about the elder stars is that they seem to be telepathically connected with each other. Do not only can they summon each other, they can communicate and relay information instantly. Something not wise on the Elder Stars part though is that it seems like all of them were summoned to Egghead. If something were to happen, none of them are at the seat of power to properly take charge. If someone wanted to mess with the world government, the best time to do so is literally this 10 or so minute time frame with the Gorosei away and tied up fighting a Monkey Sun God. They should have left at least 1 Star behind as a safety protocol.
I also thought about that and i am quite sure that Imu-sama is also able to summon the elders. I mean he can turn into a weird creature as well, we saw that in the sabo scene.
this also throws a wrench in BB pirates plan ,they thought having Devon mimic saturn would be good enough ,but nope that won't if the elder stars can verify via telepathy .. so BB L
what I find kinda crazy is, Luffy's arm isn't coated in armament when holding Kizaru, he can just hold him and smash into a pizza no problem. i also love the name of his attack, cymbal really goes with the theme of the drums
The first thing I said to myself when I read this chapter was "I hope Liam says something about Onigashima being underwater". I love you videos, really.
I just noticed while watching the video that when Luffy threw Saturn and Kizaru, Saturn got back up and charged at Luffy. I think it’s hinting the fact that Saturn has fought Joy Boy and knows how the Nika Fruit works, which could also explain why he isn’t really fazed by the attacks.
he's not phased because he's not a real person. all five of the gorosei are actually im broken up into five different people like vp's satellites. That's how they could all speak telepathically to each other and im can hear everything they say
Although Luffy had upperhands till now, but he has a major disadvantage! Luffy never fought Saturn or Any Elders before. But all five Elders surely fought Nika before!!!
The theory that the Gorosei are the perfected ancient kingdom technology of Vegapunk's Satellites and Imu is their Stella really got a boost this chapter. The five can remotely communicate with one another and see through each other's eyes something the satellites couldn't, but merely emulate with Eggheads video network and earpieces. The Gorosei can also teleport to one another when summoned a technology that Vegapunk was working on, but not yet perfected at the start of the arc. Also even the fact that they all have different Devil Fruits is a step up from Vegapunk as he and all the satellites share the same one. Honestly the only thing Vegapunk has over them is that he had created six satellites while Imu only has the five Gorosei, unless their was a sixth who betrayed them much like York did Vegapunk. Maybe an inorganic being such as a robot who when last awoken tried to rejoin his brethren in the Holy Land who happens to now currently be resting in secret on Egghead.
@@riccardoarpea9966 honestly I can see where this is going but the entire thing around blackbeard being three people would mess up this thought process
i think there is a possibility that oda is intentionally trying to make the reader realize that dragon doesn’t do much in order to hide something like his involvement in the end game. having the readers expectation be so low that is is that much more satisfying when he actually had a role to play in the story.
I'm kind of hoping for another cool panoramic shot of the crew standing side by side on the Labostratum, staring down the Elder Stars.. Like a reverse of the positions of them vs CP9 back at Enies Lobby..
Wow, it's just getting more and more intense. The most unpredictable arc we have ever seen. It's impossible to predict what Oda-sensei will show us next. All the 5 elder geezers gonna be summoned down to Egghead.
i think the fight VS the elders stars will end with them being thrown into the sea, since luffy doesnt seem to actually be able to dmg them. then we will see that either water is no weakness for them or imu being able to reverse-summon them. maybe luffy meeting an elder star is the catalyst shanks was waiting for before meeting him. maybe shanks will be another teacher-figure (or rather a revisited one) to teach luffy how to actually do dmg to them (since shanks is basicly a celestial dragon, he might know sth)
Akainu got Ace, Kuzan got Garp, and now Kizaru got Vegapunck. All we need now is to wait for Greenbull and Fugitora and we will have BINGO for our Admirals putting holes in people section!
I think this will be a setup for the final confrontation like we saw at shaobody pre-timeskip where the strawhats gets overwhelmed and needs to run with their tails between their legs, to then power up for the next / last confrontation where they will massacre the elder stars mercilessly
I like to think Kizaru no longer has the will to continue fighting. What he had considered friends are basically dead or are going to die at this point, as Vegapunk is bleeding out already, meaning his mission is sorta complete at that point. Plus, I dont think he wants to get in between the gorosei.
Against all five "planets," I think Luffy will struggle to hurt them until the Ancient Automaton comes in clutch with some way to damage the elders using that good ol' ancient technology.
So let me get this straight The Gorosei are on Egghead, Devon gained the ability to transform into Saturn, Blackbeard has Pudding and Laffite can Hypnotize her so a potential Poneglyph reader, Karibou will tell him the location of two ancient weapons. Then there's Elbaf and whatever role Loki will play. And we still have Crossguild the Marines, Revolutionaries and the Red Hair Pirates in the background. How is this all going to come together?
11:48 i thought of that detail too, maybe it was done to show us difference between kizaru that has weak to no will and gorocei that maybe has the strongest or darkest will or will of d or f or g or some new power scale that will be introduced, maybe it will be exclusive or inclusive idk, i hope u see the comment ❤
I think it's also the first time we've gotten confirmation that different time zones exist in the One Piece World ? I love that detail, and we got to see that Iceburg doesn't wear pajamas but a fucking SUIT when he sleeps all by himself, dude is so classy
I have a feeling we are not gonna know how the events on Egghead play out. The Straw Hats are gonna leave Egghead with someone (maybe the Giant Pirates) holding back the 5 Elder Stars. We won’t know what happens to either of them or Egghead for real world years to come.
i actually said last chapter that if navy is getting a reinforcement to change the tides, it needs to be all of gorosei.. and it did man, sometimes onepiece is exhausting because of the roller coaster of emotions we are getting.. 2 chapters before and we are doubting if we need to leave the island because it seems like we we can win and then now this
I’m guessing how this fight between Luffy vs the Gorosei gonna play out is that luffy would be overwhelmed by them. Not by their devil fruits but a lack of understanding how they keep recovering and maintaining their strength. Luffy would then remember what Kaido said to him, “devil fruits arent enough. Only Haki can transcend all”. Leaving luffy to theorize that the Gorosei are using hidden haki abilities that he still yet to know about. Luffy would lose but be saved at the last minute.
I'm starting to get even more Marineford parallels from this arc than we already had. We have the donutification of a very important character, an announcement to shake up the whole world, a fight consisting of some of the scariest groups against the Marines, the fear of said Marine's most powerful threats putting an end to everything (escalating from admirals to elder stars), a character on the side of the Marines trying to remain strong in the face of their damaged resolve (and failing) and even the potential for Blackbeard to swoop in yet again to scoop up whatever he can once the two forces tire themselves out. This time, though, there isn't even anybody who can pull a last minute Shanks moment and stop the fight with just their presence (unless we consider an inverted moment where Imu appears and stops the fight in the worst way possible).
this chapter also gives more time for kizaru's redemption as he can now possibly shield luffy from some of the gorosei's attacks and help him leave. I think we'll see it happen within the next ten chapters
Does pythagoras, shaka and stella count as individual characters or one single character? because if they're individual characters then 3 characters have died already, i like to think that if all the other vegapunks still live without stella they get to count as individuals since they have distinct personalities, bodies and characteristics aside from sharing a google drive for a brain
So this chapter really made me think about the past Joy boy and his fights with the elder stars. I wonder just how much these elder stars are use to getting turned into a toon. Also what the old Joy boy attacks were and what cartoons he copied. Also this could be the actual moment the revolution army has been waiting for. All 5 elder stars seem to be leaving their home.
Dang, a video's up before a new Community tab post asking for our thoughts, questions, comments and speculation for the future. Shows just how crazy this chapter was. I will say though, I'm seeing a lot of people on social media saying that it can't possibly be the other Elders who are being summoned (despite there being four summoning circles created) and that it has to be the God's Knights, otherwise it's 100% pointless for them to even be brought up as what is the point of their existence, especially given they didn't stop Fisher Tiger or the Revolutionaries attacking? Personally, what really got me this chapter was Luffy pointing out that his attacks don't actually hurt Saturn. That's not good. Makes me wonder if there's another level of Haki he needs to unlock before he can hurt them.
@grandlinereview : did you notice "les Miserables" (Víctor Hugo) inspiration (!!!) : we have Kuma as Jean Val Jean, Cosette as Bonney , Fantine as Ginny and probably Sakazuki as Javert and plot reveal : Sabo as Marius for later . But the Kuma life has lots of common points with Jean Val Jean ! It was striking to me !
Seeing Luffy flatten Saturn and Kizaru scratches that itch I got watching Tom and jerry as a kid. My brain even auto filled the Luffy panels with Tom and Jerry sound effects.
I know you say that Dragon's presence is being devalued by his frequent appearances, but I see it akin to showing Shanks kinda just waiting around for... whatever, until that moment when he suddenly said "It's time to go get the One Piece", showing us that he really means business. Shnks went from good ol' Luffy mentor-like figure with some friends (and enemies) in high places to a literal force of nature destroying a beloved(?) crew in no time flat, making his presence that much more intimidating. Likewise, we _know_ Dragon and the Revolutionary Army are one of the most powerful factions in the world, so the moment he finally shows us just how much he's capable of could be a really game changer in the series, and that will be all the more apparent by the contrast with his current do-nothing presence. I suppose you could say it's less about the suspence and more about the eventual impact.
I love that scene in the Live Action where Garp is feeding his Den Den Mushi, I'm glad this chapter acknowledged the fact that. They need to be taken care of as they are living beings
loves the vegapunk introduce message to entire world part, its like nostalgic mr.satan communicate to earth for spirit ball while goku fight kid buu. that moment and when the others gorosei arrive are the epic part of this chapter
Is there a chance, that Vegapunk planed the summoning of the Gorosei and lured them in with the message just to blow them all up at the same time with the whole island? I mean it is a little suspicious that he takes 10 minutes so that everyon can set up a video snail. I think he is just giving Saturn time to summon his demon partnersand then BOOM. Imagine York beeing in on the plan and beeing a double agent the whole time just to fool the WG. It would be something I expect the worlds smartest man to pull off.
Imagine if Kizaru was also in on it, and he's the Snape of this story. Vegapunk secretly contacted him and told him "I need you to kill me when the time is right."
"Is there a chance, that Vegapunk planed the summoning of the Gorosei and lured them in with the message just to blow them all up at the same time with the whole island?" Nope. no chance at all.
IMO Vega punk is going to reveal Imu to the world and their face to us the audience, this alone is enough to shake the world to its core. Second he will fulfill the will of the last scholar we saw die in the pursuit of the truth of the void century by giving the name of the ancient kingdom.
I know we’ll probably never see it Or if we do it’ll be at the end But i really want to see the return of Smoker. He’s a really neat character and being offscreen for so long I can only hope it’s so he can get stronger. Also because his fruit is relatively underpowered (compared to other logias) we could see some more creative ideas of how he uses it. Vertigo basically outlined EXACTLY what Smoker needed to do to get stronger, he said it to his face what he needed to improve. So my hope is soon enough we’ll see Smoker again, and we’ll finally get to see him as the powerhouse he was originally shown as
the arc about the redeption of Kuma and Vegapunk featuring the 5 elders, pizzaru, the nika robot that didn't move yet and a full giant pirate ship. this arc is the most crazy oda did since the skypea arc.
They need to stall for more than 10 minutes - The video only starts at 10 minute point but we have no idea how long the video is. It could be a 2 hour summary or just a 1 minute bombshell. I have a feeling part of the message will get out but not all of it, lets say its a 10 minute message but it gets cut at the 5 minute mark. This means the world is partly informed of something important but both the readers and people living in the One piece world will be curious to know what the rest of the message would have been. This is also a nice setup for allowing a powerful villain to enter the stage to be forced to let the straw hats go because stopping the broadcast has priority.

I appreciate that Saturn’s powers, for how crazy and demon-like they are, are also still kinda goofy. Him being thrown by Luffy only to swerve back like a boomerang was legit funny. The silliness kinda parallels Luffy and I like it
I laughed so hard on that 😂 oda delivered this one good
Right!? I thought it was absolute gold 😂👌🏽 I feel like Oda would be having some genuine fun with this last legs of the story. Really Excited to see the rest of the gorosei and their interactions with Luffy
I might be reaching but I think he already fought Nikka, that's why he is able to counterattack and also why he didn't lose time calling the other elders for backup, he knows it can become very dire very fast if they don't overwhelm him
Funny that both the readers and the population in One Piece are all waiting for the Lore bomb of the century together
That's a good point 😂
That’s Oda’s genius style, when Kuma punched Saturn, that punch contained not only Kuma’s hate, but the readers’ as well, Saturn’s creature eyes are looking out of the page at the reader…Oda’s whole style is making us feel like we’re a part of the story, which he’s always done. From the first theme song, Luffy spins his hat as he invites us to be Strawhats too.
“There’s always room for you, if you want to be my friend.”
Each and every one of us that cheers Luffy on and backs up his dream…is a Strawhat Pirate too, and that…is the true beauty of One Piece.

@@jonasru2567yeah but he's fighting Lucci rn not Kaku
Kaku and Lucci are borh overrated.

Very interesting one!
Seeing Luffy turn an admiral and an elder into pizza was insane. Gear 5th is just such a great powerup.

I can't wait to hear this voice acted in whatever year the anime reaches this point. Kaido's VA did a great job of expressing the pure discomfort and pain of what Luffy did to him, and getting Pizza'd got some very exasperated sounds out of Kizaru.

It's the 4 cooks that make food for the gorosei and celestial dragons

I really hope this 10 minutes isn't a DBZ "Namekian" 10 minutes that may or may not span weeks or volumes.

"Do the telephones defecate" is such a Luffy line of thinking
Saturn who calls people "insects" was squashed like an insect by luffy and then spinned him like pizza dough was just hilarious.
Nevermind the fact that he is actually a arachnid which is closer to an insect than human
They are the same as sung jin woo's generals.
I doubt vegapunk knows the existence of imu 🧐
I like the thought of many people genuinely thinking: "Who the f*** is Alice?!" 🤣
Alice? Who the fuck is Alice?
The celestial knights are still there in Marjois also Akainu
this also throws a wrench in BB pirates plan ,they thought having Devon mimic saturn would be good enough ,but nope that won't if the elder stars can verify via telepathy .. so BB L

what I find kinda crazy is, Luffy's arm isn't coated in armament when holding Kizaru, he can just hold him and smash into a pizza no problem. i also love the name of his attack, cymbal really goes with the theme of the drums

Can't wait Luffy drum rolling imu.
You get a like just for using "fazed", the correct verb.

I really really want this scene
It's a good thing you're not writing this story cos wth
Wow, it's just getting more and more intense. The most unpredictable arc we have ever seen. It's impossible to predict what Oda-sensei will show us next. All the 5 elder geezers gonna be summoned down to Egghead.
I can imagine Kinemon chipping the idea of pushing Onigashima like Patrick did to Mr. Krabs
"WE SHOULD TAKE ONIGASHIMA, AND PUSH IT SOMEWHERE ELSE"
i think the fight VS the elders stars will end with them being thrown into the sea, since luffy doesnt seem to actually be able to dmg them. then we will see that either water is no weakness for them or imu being able to reverse-summon them. maybe luffy meeting an elder star is the catalyst shanks was waiting for before meeting him. maybe shanks will be another teacher-figure (or rather a revisited one) to teach luffy how to actually do dmg to them (since shanks is basicly a celestial dragon, he might know sth)
"No matter what, i wont be there!"
~Dragon, on when his friends are in trouble
XD
Against all five "planets," I think Luffy will struggle to hurt them until the Ancient Automaton comes in clutch with some way to damage the elders using that good ol' ancient technology.
“Do the telephones defecate?” That’s got to be my favorite random question about One Piece I never expected to hear, but am so glad I did.
I really like how water 7 was used to portray the different sides of the grand line, since its the middle of the night there
So let me get this straight The Gorosei are on Egghead, Devon gained the ability to transform into Saturn, Blackbeard has Pudding and Laffite can Hypnotize her so a potential Poneglyph reader, Karibou will tell him the location of two ancient weapons.
Then there's Elbaf and whatever role Loki will play.
And we still have Crossguild the Marines, Revolutionaries and the Red Hair Pirates in the background.
How is this all going to come together?
and to think that marineford war was chaotic already, nah, the final saga is definitely going to be more chaotic now.
How Saturn adapted to luffy's toon force made me feel like Saturn has fought against the Nika powers before
11:48 i thought of that detail too, maybe it was done to show us difference between kizaru that has weak to no will and gorocei that maybe has the strongest or darkest will or will of d or f or g or some new power scale that will be introduced, maybe it will be exclusive or inclusive idk, i hope u see the comment ❤
my favorite line was the random guy in the west blue commenting on vegapunks head. "look at his head... his mind's so sharp it cut itself".
The translation I read said that the secretary’s name was meant to be read with an Italian inflection. Spelled Alice, but pronounced ‘a-LEE-chay.’
i actually said last chapter that if navy is getting a reinforcement to change the tides, it needs to be all of gorosei.. and it did
man, sometimes onepiece is exhausting because of the roller coaster of emotions we are getting.. 2 chapters before and we are doubting if we need to leave the island because it seems like we we can win and then now this
I want to note that, if the five elder stars are coming into play THIS early, Imu is WAY more threatening than we initially thought.
Throughout the new world and the grand line I alone am the East Bird - Monkey D Dragon (probably)
The versions of the Elder Stars you depicted in garb appropriate to their sphere of influence made me giggle.
In the chapter there was T/N that said Alice's name is pronounced "Aliche"
10:17 the cutoff made me choke on my water
It would be crazy if the revolutionary army, Blackbeards fleet, and the crossguild take advantage of this situation
This chapter was literally just 11 pages....... It's crazy short bro 😭😭
I love that Luffy is the boss battle this time around
its not just 10 minutes right? well vegapunk saying something does take time also..... so 10+ minutes would be the timetable.....
"Do the telephones defecate?" So THAT's why Luffy keeps asking if things poop!
That last panel with Saturn and Luffy was epic!
So true
@grandlinereview : did you notice "les Miserables" (Víctor Hugo) inspiration (!!!) : we have Kuma as Jean Val Jean, Cosette as Bonney , Fantine as Ginny and probably Sakazuki as Javert and plot reveal : Sabo as Marius for later .
But the Kuma life has lots of common points with Jean Val Jean !
It was striking to me !
Last chapter Oda was like "Vagapunk is going to tell you something very important........" and then this chapter:"...... After 10 minutes"
Seeing Luffy flatten Saturn and Kizaru scratches that itch I got watching Tom and jerry as a kid. My brain even auto filled the Luffy panels with Tom and Jerry sound effects.
Has anyone noticed that many of luffy's gear 5 attack names include the word "Dawn".
It's crazy how the elder stars can somehow communicate telepathically
loves the vegapunk introduce message to entire world part, its like nostalgic mr.satan communicate to earth for spirit ball while goku fight kid buu. that moment and when the others gorosei arrive are the epic part of this chapter
That pizza sentence I never thought I would hear in my life!
Are you Joyboy because you are Monkey D. Luffy? Or are you Monkey D. Luffy because you are Joyboy?
Bro just pulled Exodia's pieces out of his deck.
What if the elders can morph into a megazoid and Luffy has to merge with the ancient robot to battle them
Is there a chance, that Vegapunk planed the summoning of the Gorosei and lured them in with the message just to blow them all up at the same time with the whole island? I mean it is a little suspicious that he takes 10 minutes so that everyon can set up a video snail. I think he is just giving Saturn time to summon his demon partnersand then BOOM.
Imagine York beeing in on the plan and beeing a double agent the whole time just to fool the WG.
It would be something I expect the worlds smartest man to pull off.
Imagine if Kizaru was also in on it, and he's the Snape of this story. Vegapunk secretly contacted him and told him "I need you to kill me when the time is right."
"Is there a chance, that Vegapunk planed the summoning of the Gorosei and lured them in with the message just to blow them all up at the same time with the whole island?"

I feel like this arc shows Dragon so much because the announcement and ensuing chaos will finally compel him to make whatever move he's going to make.
IMO Vega punk is going to reveal Imu to the world and their face to us the audience, this alone is enough to shake the world to its core. Second he will fulfill the will of the last scholar we saw die in the pursuit of the truth of the void century by giving the name of the ancient kingdom.
I know we’ll probably never see it
Or if we do it’ll be at the end
But i really want to see the return of Smoker.
I'm still expecting someone to do a Dr. Eggman "I've come to make an announcement" parody with Dr. Vegapunk once we reach that point in the anime.
I haven't felt this type of "wtf is happening" chaos since reading week to week Dressrosa.
The "pi-" saying heart monitor comfirmed it. Stella should be dead.
Also if truely all 5 of the Elders appear on Egghead, where the f is Dragon already!?
