Most of the times is not clear that the Elves in the Lord of the Rings are a very wise and powerfull race BECAUSE they waged war agains anyone for thousand of years and now they are all: nah we rather enjoy singing and writing poems, but you said WAR!?!?!?! Yes! Yes! I'm in!
Absolutely excellent! Going straight into the elven playlist alongside Eldaron, Si Ambalë! I really like how this one seems a bit more ”casual” kinda? It feels more like something the soldiers came up with themselves and are singing happily while on the march.
@@Theuselessguitarist Yes, I wanted something that could feel like a song sung after the battle at Alqualondë. They shouldn't think about what they had done, only about what drove them to move forward. Essentially, a chant to keep their spirits high even after what they had done: killing their own kin in pursuit of vengeance.
He was clever enough to see Morgoth's true intentions, but not wise enough to avert the destiny of suffering to which he would condemn himself, his sons, and his people. In the end, Melkor struck. Maybe not the target he intended, but he still caused the damage he desired to the First Children of Eru.
Yay! Another Silmarillion song! A wonderful day for any Feanorian supporter, though I do have one quibble: 'Yámë Melkor ahyar,' Noldor would NEVER use this line, since they refuse to use that name for the Great Enemy. They'd say Morgoth instead.
Great music. Between this and Eldaron you should definitely make more middle-earth music, subscribed. Feanor was the only elf to not surrender blindly to the fate Iluvatar made for them, and one of not many of them who really had the life in him. No wonder he's the only one who was not reincarnated but is still held in the halls of Mandos, he's too dangerous for the establishment. And regardless his fate, it's not like the Eru sheep had it any better, and ultimately just to "fade out", lousy godlet Eru just love to make people suffer.
Morgoth! Is that you?! 🤣 Jokes aside, thank you very much. I will see what i can do for other songs for the setting. I never tought about that way for Feanor, but is quite an interpretation. Very nice indeed.
@@rolelifeproject Melkor, it's MELKOR!!! 😤 I think the key is using in-universe language, every fantasy and sci-fi music sounds much beter in them than just in English, same as Warhammer 40k songs sounds much better in Latin, i mean High Gothic. I would love for something in Khuzdul, Adunaic, Black Speech or Westron (without being represented by English).
@Vanhal11 Alright, alright, Mr. Melkor (for Eru's sake, these Valar are so touchy sometimes)😏. I wouldn’t mind making a song in the Black Speech. I could think about it. Doing all the songs in-setting language wouldn’t be a bad idea, but it would take me way too long to write the lyrics (and I fear they might be hard to follow). Still, one here and there might happen.
When the noldor inspired fear !

Fëanor's treachery and with it he and his sons will have a terrible fate

@ronanchristiana.belleza9270 .....i should make a song for Fingolfin...

Damn! You're right! I hadn't noticed... I was feeling so confident about the topic that I completely overlooked one of the basics. My bad

What about Numenorean song? Especially Black Numenorean one? Arpharazon hymn or something.
