- Video from when I was studying with this most exceptional, wonderful gentleman, Daniel Rodriguez, in downtown Havana in March 2014. Unfortunately we have since lost him as he passed away in April of 2015.

Los percusionistas Cubanos, son los creadores de infinidad de ritmos, y por ende los padres de la percusión, nadie como ellos, representan la esencia del folclore afrocubano que enriquece a toda la música latinoamericana. Felicitaciones al maestro Daniel Rodríguez, me recuerda a mi maestro Mario Jáuregui del Folclórico Nacional Cubano, con quien tomé clases en México, mi sueño es viajar a Cuba para seguir aprendiendo. Saludos.
