I'm glad you found the video informative! There's so much to explore in the techniques of the Spanish Masters, and I'm excited to share it here on the channel..
Thank You for sharing the OG Traditional techniques and methods. It is an invaluable resource for traditional painters. I appreciate your videos and once again Thank you for sharing🙏🎨👌
I love your videos… happy to see a new one on here…. Im intrigued by this pallet you speak of, but where would we find these paints? And this lavender oil? You also spoke of boiling oil down… would love for you to elaborate on this process the way you did with creating grounds for canvas.
¡Saludos!
is that real lead white? is there a way to discard some dirty rags and some way safe to clean the brush with lead white in it? Even if I could bought real lead white and I would, of course be very careful to use it but still it's not very good for the environment, how to discard it? Great work! Thanks!
Hello! Thank you for commenting. I use stack-process lead white for my historical demonstrations on this channel. To clean your brushes, set out two trays and fill them with refined linseed oil. Use the first tray to remove excess paint from your brushes, and the second tray to store clean oil that preserves the bristles and prevents them from drying out. Be sure to thoroughly wipe your brushes with a rag before transferring them from the first tray to the second, so you don’t contaminate the clean oil. When you finish painting for the day, leave the brushes in the second tray with fresh oil. Before your next session, simply wipe them off with a rag. Once the oil becomes old, let it solidify and then dispose of it in a garbage bag.
