Hi friends,
This is a mother's day special video so in today's tutorial i am sharing a beautiful Mom & kid sculpture made from trash without using clay. It was one of the metal sculpture i have seen and tried to draw the reference image and made this craft.I hope its easy to follow and make. Hope you will try to make one too.
Materials used:
Waste Cardboard sheet, POP(Plaster of paris), Glue, Water, Plastic Deco Lace, Acrylic colors : black, red and metallic gold paints, Varnish.

But you can try using it on a small cardboard piece to see how it works instead of directly using it in a project.

Yes you can use but while applying please keep in mind about the drying time of the paste as we need to apply the glue and putty mix while its soft & dont mix too much quantity at once to avoice wastage.

hi you can use foil if you have, otherwise use thick sheets of paper you get from packaging or else use more pieces of paper thats the last option

Hi please cover your creation using tissue papers & Glue and water mixed in equal parts(example: mix 1 spoon of glue with 1 spoon of water)(tip: Pls note if you use too much water cardboard will become bumpy so pls takecare of that so u don’t use too much water)
Then let it dry then you can paint it☺️ ty

Hi you can also make the same using glue and water mixed in equal parts and then stick the tissue papers to cover the cardboard using both of them and the paint.
But make the sculpture with 3 or 4 cardboards so you have thick sculpute(its a tip)

You can try to apply the texture paste carefully while applying so that the surface will be smooth so that you can avoid sanding it 😁, or else u can take a thickpaper put some hot glue (if u have hotglue gun) while glue is hot add sand/salt and let it dry u can use that for sanding too (a quick homemade sandpaper)☺️

You can make 3 or 4 cardboard cutouts in the shape and smooth the edges using sandpaper carefully and then cover with glue+water mix and tissue papers then color it once its dry😊

we use pop or whitecement so it will be firm just like clay, you can also try to stick tissue papers with glue+water mix let it dry and color it, even dat gives a nice texture too

hi yes, you can skip,
but i would recommend you to coat it with varnish as it makes the piece dust proof,water proof and will also give a shine,
But, still you can skip if you dont want to use varnish.
