Hello, love this video. Can you tell us what's that NATO Rail you're using?, or how you're mounting the battery to the RS 2. It also seems like you're using a longer cable for the battery adapter right? Thanks!! Footage looks great!
Hey Josh! Awesome video! I am a Chilean living in Dunedin! I own a bmpcc 4k and I am very intrigued about how are you filming in 48p with the bmpcc4k, I don't seem to find how to set 48p. Or are you referring to the off-speed frame rate? If so, what is your fps in the project frame rate when you are in the 48p shot? Also, did you change the playing speed of that shot in post? I really liked the look of your 48p. Would you be able to explain this further? Your colour grading is wicked!
Hey man! Great video and amazing shots. Could you put up a link to your battery solution for the bmpcc as well as the NATO rail attachment you used for the rs2?
Hey man thanks! So I just use a standard NPF battery plate to pocket4k/6k power cord, if you search it on B&H it should come up, and I’ve actually started screwing that right on to the little arm the gimbal comes with, the one that you mount the tripod legs to for under slung shooting. Hope that makes sense!
great video xDDD But I have still some questions as it's pretty hard to choose between the 6k and 6k pro haha. I've never had a video camera, so I'm somehow afraid that it will be too heavy with the Pocket 6k Pro (1.2 kg DJI Rs 2 stabilizer, 800g Sigma 18-35 mm, 1.2 kg Pocket 6k Pro, and another battery or SSD.) Do you think that could be the case? Especially when you e.g. film the whole day or when you travel and still have a drone. I also wonder if the 6k Pro's "tilting screen" is really necessary? (I filmed with the Gopro and the cell phone on a stabilizer and never really had any problems, even when I walked very close to the floor. Maybe it's different with the camera, as many 6k users said it is necessary). Buying one later would make less sense, as it costs more and is perhaps even more uncomfortable if you use the stabilizer and fix a "DJI 3D focus system" / microphone on the "head" of the camera. I've already looked a bit on the internet and apparently the 6k Pro fits on the RS 2, but it's not yet entirely clear to me whether that's really true. I have one last question then I say more than thank you; Do you actually need nd filters a lot in filmmaking? thxx

@@JoshBenBernales what accessories did you use to attach the battery plate to the dji rs2 ? Can you also provide link for that
@@aniketkaran7373 oh I see, I can’t remember what it’s called, it a SmallRig evf mount though.
Kudos for the excellent review.
I was expecting to see the full tilta cage, but I guess it will be the same as far as the setup goes and its overall dimensions.
Would you agree ?
By the way your instagram account seems to be not working
Yeah, they are very similar. Interesting, it's the same name minus the Ben, now.
Did you slow down the speed in post?
No?
Hey brother how much does the BMPCC last on that external battery attached ?
Great question, I would imagine about 1.5 hours give it take, I have the larger version too and that can last hours but I’ve never tested the timing. I’ve run hour long interviews with this size battery and it’s been fine. You can also pick these third party versions up cheap as on amazon.
Anybody familiar with the Nato reels? I'm looking to mount my v mount battery to the side of my RS2, but don't have a ton of rigging experience, and familiarity!
I'd personally go the NPF battery route, you can get simple plates that plug into the camera.
Josh Ben Bernales okay cool definitely look into that thanks
thank you
You can't "pan up". A "pan" is strictly horizontal movent. A "tilt", is a vertical movement. You were "tilting up", not "panning up".
Thanks mate
thanks !!
What plate are you running the NPF from?
It’s the SmallRig 1594 👍🏻👍🏻
@@JoshBenBernales that the battery is mounted on?
@@glennparker8247 that’s it!
@@JoshBenBernales 1954 looks to be a part of the shoulder plate for a Sony set up. That's all I can find on small rig
@@glennparker8247 that’s what I’m using, I had it for a shoulder rig setup for a monitor It seems to work just fine for me. You can mount the npf plate on top like me then also add a monitor below it if you need to.
Why use a mouth mask, alone, making shots.. ..outside? This slave attitude will destroy us.
Because I was asking people if I could film them which meant I was getting closer to them. Slave attitude? If you think that wearing a mask is going to destroy “us” then I’m very worried for you.
