I do hope that the new ownership helps out Warmachine; SFG may have a spotty track record thanks to Guild Ball, but their rpg focused plastics do seem to have the kind of distribution that Privateer has been lacking for years.
I fondly remember arguing with some of the departed BoW folk about naming conventions in Mk2 Warmahordes. I sincerely hope that the game can reach even half the heights it once enjoyed.
Yea mk2 was just about teh best table top game i have ever played, Premeasuring in a game like that is just crap. Everyone plays fast and ranged units and magic casters now, if you are a slow melee army you are going to suffer because they can just exactly be far enough that you can't do anything.
Those Mad Bob buildings look great, not really looked at them before but now I'm sat here thinking how versatile they are. One other big selling point for them is that stuff that takes up less space makes the missus happier 😅
1:12:19. Good points - for years I tuned out Warmachine/Hordes/Whatever because of seemingly confusing and shifting branding, at least from my vantage point
I love the look of those folding buildings. I wonder if there might be a foture where that comes in 15mm-ish for making sprawling historical European towns that pack away nice and neatly.
Another option for the Wargames Atlantic Werewolves would be to use the Longhorn profile in the Herd list for Kings of War. Stop making me buy things 😊
Mad Bob miniatures folding terrain looks great, thanks for letting us know about it. Please note though that according to their website the terrain comes unpainted, when you were chatting that wasn't made clear.
Ben, loved your B&B play through. Gerry, outstanding game the other day, sorry to see you not pull out the win. Would love to see more of those with you and John.
Love the look of Mad Bob's foldable terrain but it's the Conquest stuff that really appeals to me. Every time I see them I want to get them. Maybe this year I'll finally dip my foot in the range and get something to paint.
All the historical plastics are amazing! Getting the victrix knights and the wargames Atlantic foot knights just leaves me having to find some peasants to complete a plastic barons war force
i could see it making sense as a company to do 3d printed for the stuff that will sell in smaller numbers, but injection molded sprues for the main core units, jack kits, and starter sets that would sell in higher quantities.... The only reason I don't own a Trolls army from mk2 was that it was an entire extra rulebook, army book, etc... I did start to just collect the minis though...sadly I probably won't ever finish that army ...
The Jaarls remind me of a sci-fi story I read about a time fighter being followed by short fuzzy creatures with huge teeth as he tries to recuperate enough to go back to the front! They're adorably sinister.
I backed the first Cyberpunk Red KS for the terrain. Might need to back the new one for the vehicles. That Quar stuff is seriously cool. And Zombiesmith’s fantasy range is really unique.
Waiting for Steamforged to produce Warmachine in hard plastic before I think in detail about jumping on board - I've got so much of the old metal from Khador/Cygner/Circle and Trollblood.
I hope Warmachine goes from strength to strength, they should drop some of the supporting projects that are a bit uninspired. The weekly prize isn't GW hurrah, not that I ever win
MkIV has been a lot of fun so far after I came back into Warmachine just before the new edition was announced. I was very unhappy about late Mk3. Cheaper entry point is a good idea. I don't think the plan is for everything to transition into hard plastics. That makes no sense and only creates problems for the companies that try. Instead, the high volume stuff will go into polystyrene. And the 3d printing has been steadily getting better over the last few years, both in design and durability. It also enables a few things I do not miss about HIPS. I am pretty optimistic! MkIV revitalized Warmachine locally.
The werewolves look great, must get some. I am thinking of kitbashing werewolvesvwith laser rifles. Sneakfeet look intersting too. Fireforge do sets of medievals tool. I have preorderd tge Victrix knights and hope they fit with the new Wargames Atlantuc Foot Knights
Gerry, the only "sane" one to not beckon in a creepy fashion when mentioning the site. I think I might be investing in another army after this (or atleast more stuff)
I will miss Protectorate of Menoth, and the old Trolls....and my collection is basically all relegated to playing the unlimited format... but I DO hope Warmachine makes a comeback, and I really hope it gets a following again in my area, I'd buy back in with the 2 player set and some other new Khador and Cygnar models... just sad that I can't finish out my old armies without finding N.O.S. or used minis, and they aren't in the new reboot... to some extent I am sad about the reboot, and some of the new models and whatnot.... but to some extent I kinda hope they keep the factions a bit smaller that they had become at one point.... if they add more and more and more and end up back where they were before the reboot, before cutting out a bunch of the range, then it was all pointless as far as the game player and collector is concerned...the only purpose would be selling new minis to people...and that reminds me too much of GW to be a fan of that. Cheers...
Hopefully warmachine does go towards hard plastic, I'll be interest to see what the new starter set is like at the end of the year. Personally the pirate trollbloods do nothing for me, much prefer the old northkin drunk scottish trolls.
Very simple bring the old style models back from mk1. Models now are way to wierd! very different style the first Warmachine and Horde models they where epic. + the lore was great and now its soooooo of course of what is was.
Gerry - one day you should do a tour of your shelves and cupboards, so we can witness the treasure troves they hold👍

May be a good idea to do the Warsaw uprising using the new V for Victory new rule set.
I'm thinking that I believe there are partisans in the rules...actually I own the rules so I may check
Even if not ,I'm sure you can adapt it @@Gerrcinn
1:12:19. Good points - for years I tuned out Warmachine/Hordes/Whatever because of seemingly confusing and shifting branding, at least from my vantage point
I really want Warmachine to do well, I played a lot back in 2006ish and loved the system and world, not played in a long time but I am there for it
I love the look of those folding buildings. I wonder if there might be a foture where that comes in 15mm-ish for making sprawling historical European towns that pack away nice and neatly.
Yes more unedited battle reports please. It got me looking at my Flames of War books again, but I need to finish my Kings of War army.
Another option for the Wargames Atlantic Werewolves would be to use the Longhorn profile in the Herd list for Kings of War. Stop making me buy things 😊
yesssss
am glad to see that Warmachine is doing better.
Duckman reminds me of the good ol days when mutants used to be any animals they wanted not just goats
Mad Bob miniatures folding terrain looks great, thanks for letting us know about it. Please note though that according to their website the terrain comes unpainted, when you were chatting that wasn't made clear.
probably because the ones we had came prepainted from 4Ground
Mad Bob is indeed mad - would love some futuristic urban buildings that fold away neatly!
Cant wait and see where Warmachine will go..Got my Trollbloods but i guess they will go LEgacy or something. Mutant Year Zero got some nice minis..
those troll pirates looked cool ... didn't know those existed at all.
It’s gonna be very interesting to see what Steamforged do now.
Great show as always. An interesting discussion about Warmachine.
I Hope we have a real Warmachine reboot.
1:01:16 so of Jerry is 32mm scale what is Lloyd in? 15mm?
I'm going to buy the Wargames Atlantic werewolves for Konflikt '47.
Happy weekend boys and girls. I saw Justin walking around expo with that very prize in a carrier bag. We briefly discussed the joys of mutant ducks.
Foldable terrain is a genius idea!
And yes, of course, they named their swords. Thank you for making me google the Hound's bit on that. 🤣
I am looking forward to trying Conquest First Blood and that foldable terrain is amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Great show, fellas! Painful one for the wallet though...
Been itching to finally get Wargames Atlantic box and it'll be Wolfboys for the win.
Cheers!
Ben, loved your B&B play through. Gerry, outstanding game the other day, sorry to see you not pull out the win. Would love to see more of those with you and John.
This is always a great show to wake up to on a saturday morning
Love the look of Mad Bob's foldable terrain but it's the Conquest stuff that really appeals to me. Every time I see them I want to get them. Maybe this year I'll finally dip my foot in the range and get something to paint.

Very into those crusader models. So dynamic. Enjoyed the use of the classic Fandabbydozzy - said that at work last week, and the boss looked bemused 😂
Oh that was the chat. This is the comments. Let me try again. +1 for Mad Bob. I have one of his tanks and it's dashed nice. Goodonyer Bob!
Thanks for another weekend update folks.
I gotta say those cyberpunk vehicles are awfully tempting!
Josh's Scavenger fellows remind me of the little eyeless, yet toothy bad guys in The Maxx.
Those Werewolves look lush! Great show guys!

Been looking for foldable terrain ideas for a while ❤thanks!
Those werewolves do look nice
Brother Lloyd:"Guess who's for dinner"
In concern of plastic mounted knights from 12thish century, Conquest games have had a box of them out for years.
The Jaarls remind me of a sci-fi story I read about a time fighter being followed by short fuzzy creatures with huge teeth as he tries to recuperate enough to go back to the front! They're adorably sinister.
The Sorcerer Kings really do have some crazy good stuff in their range
Love the Quar, the first tank model was released to Patreon subs today
Fancy both of those Wargames Atlantic boxes. Wonder how the sneekfeet would look with skaven heads.
OMG i need that Mad Bob folding terrain in my life, love mdf terrain but boy oh boy does it take up some space
The folding terrain from Mad Bob Miniatures look great.
From now on, I'll call blood splatter effects the "Lloyd eats spaghetti" technique.
Those troll pirates for warmachine look amazing.
That folding terrain looks awesome.
I backed the first Cyberpunk Red KS for the terrain. Might need to back the new one for the vehicles. That Quar stuff is seriously cool. And Zombiesmith’s fantasy range is really unique.
Loved the Villars-Bocage FoW game!
Great jam-packed show once again guys - plenty there to get the wallet twitching
Go Gerry ! ...but still no pithy comments from Justin :(
oh no ! Gerry has given me another painting project.......augh, but the Conquest starters do look cool !
Mutant year zero. Like the videogame very much
great show as normal ... i missed the KS for the Mutnat Game
Waiting for Steamforged to produce Warmachine in hard plastic before I think in detail about jumping on board - I've got so much of the old metal from Khador/Cygner/Circle and Trollblood.
Wargames Atlantic werewolves look amazing. Be grabbing them for frostgrave, silver bayonet, draculas america, etc. Etc.
Cool looking forward to seeing howv well warmachine reboot go's
Would love to see battle of Stalingrad as it's one of the most major battle of Eastern Front.
I hope Warmachine goes from strength to strength, they should drop some of the supporting projects that are a bit uninspired. The weekly prize isn't GW hurrah, not that I ever win

I've never been a rank and flank guy, but I think First blood might be worth a look.
I've put dark age heads from victrix on WA irish and dark age figures and they work well
I *NEED* the mutants on y tabletop. My RPG book remain unused so far, I need some kind of bait on the hook.
I saw the Warmahordes prices on the SFG website, soooooo expensive
Great stuff from freeleague.
Omg I loved the computer game for the mutants so good would love it
Gerry, the only "sane" one to not beckon in a creepy fashion when mentioning the site. I think I might be investing in another army after this (or atleast more stuff)
When you speak of comparing Gerry's size VS Brother Lloyd's size are we talking like 28mm VS 15mm, or...?
35mm vs heroic 10mm
And the weekender starts now 😊
The werewolves are nice but hard to see why you would need 20 of them
Hi from Lisburn lads
Friday night, OTT on the tablet and footy on mute on the TV... Magic
Love the look of Mutant year zero, just the duck is in book, but who cares. Mad Bob's range is stonkin 😂
Great show guys
Happy weekend!

Can anybody compare Victrix knights with Fireforge Teutonics?
once they're out that should be doable
happy weekender
Always been interested in year zero, I should watch some vids about it actually. Also happy weekend ye basterds
Super show lads.
Great episode as always
Some Father’s Day watching ahead
Hopefully warmachine does go towards hard plastic, I'll be interest to see what the new starter set is like at the end of the year. Personally the pirate trollbloods do nothing for me, much prefer the old northkin drunk scottish trolls.
Ah yes, the company that kept Guildball alive will totally revive Warmachine 😂
I don't get the Qwar at all. Gwar I totally get!
Qwar are just plain weird.😊
Nice one :)
Zone Wars is on my list.
Warmachine should be stl to print or nothing
1:20:00 😂
a lot of people name their swords....
Probably an unpopular opinion, but first blood might be one of the worst skirmish rulesets from the main manufacturers.
Let's go
Legion of Everblight still getting "Sunsetted"? I don't want to turn up one day and be told I can't play any more.
Very simple bring the old style models back from mk1. Models now are way to wierd! very different style the first Warmachine and Horde models they where epic. + the lore was great and now its soooooo of course of what is was.
Let Warhammer 40K, along with Amazon, change their lore for woke gender politics & insult their fan base. More people will come over to Warmachine.
Pick me😂
