I'm just wondering why you think he's gay. He has expressed interest in quite a few young lady skaters, and it's all on video! Look up a few! (You'll know who they are by how many awesome jumps he does right in front of them!) I'm pretty sure at least one broke his heart, poor guy! I've only seen one shorts vid where he hugged a guy who also medaled in the competition, and it was posted in slo-mo with a song attached which gave it a certain slant. Sure, Yuzu looked quite invigorated from giving and getting a really good hug from a friend/ competitor, but that is nothing new. He's always had skating buds. I've noticed that sometimes when he's costumed and about to skate, his hands are loose when he walks, but he is famous for always using his hands for greater expression. The 99% rest of the time, he has always seemed like a normal boy to me-- a shy, funny cut-up who is totally focused on being the best skater! So sure, He may have bloomed a little later, but some boys do, and he's Japanese, which is a very conservative culture.
